Lizzie shook himself vigorously. No! She must not suck her thumb! Was she giving in to some freaky baby urges? She must not let her mind drift away! Or else, she was lost! She had to find a way to escape this place, and quick! And to return to her adult size. And did Thomas. Lizzie sighed. That sounded like a pretty big order, especially with the body of a toddler. What did the witch intend to do with her anyway? Just the fact that she was still a toddler and that she showed no sign of turning back any time soon was not good. Well, she would not wait to discover what this evil woman had in mind. So, first things first. Elizabeth decided top get out of this stupid baby walker. The witch was nowhere to be seen. Perfect. She's get out of the humiliating contraption and walk out of the room. She'd explore the house, until she found a door to the outside or another room containing Thomas. After all, she reasoned, the witch had maybe lied to her and her brother was still around. She'd walk and look around. Even if she had to toddle about. She could still walk on her two feet, if badly.
Unfortunately, try as she might, she could not hoist herself out of the baby walker. She could only jerk and kick her legs, advancing a little on the carpet. Of course, it was made so that babies could NOT get out. It was the point of the damn thing. Lizzie wanted to scream out in frustration. Was she supposed to conduct her search in this awful thing? The degrading toys on it jingled and made way too much noise. It was sure to attract the witch! So Elizabeth was reduced to hoisting herself with much difficulty, attempting to throw herself sideways. She hoped that perhaps she could make the baby walker fall over. It would be noisy but then she could slide out. And by swinging her weight a bit...
"Lizzie baby! What are you doing?!?!"
