However, many humans manage to make it to underground bunkers or bomb shelters and escape the xenomorph queens and their children.
In the President's bomb shelter, many people were gathered. Including Ms. Weaver. She was at the front of the room, speaking to many Congressmen, White House employees, Supreme Court Justices, the President and the Vice-President, the Speaker of the House, and soldiers.
"Alright. I'll go through what I know, and then I'll answer your questions," Sigourney said. "I don't know how this happened, but I am not responsible."
"First, the xenomorphs can't reproduce by themselves. They have creatures called facehuggers, which come out of the eggs, latch on to someones face, and plant an embryo inside them. Several hours later, the embryo becomes a chestburster and tears its way out of the victim's chest, killing the host in the process. We might be able to remove chestbursters with surgery if we are quick enough, I wouldn't know, I'm not a surgeon. Second, xenomorphs have concentrated molecular acid for blood. If it hits you, it'll hurt. It might even kill you. Third, xenomorphs, when their skin is pierced by a bullet or other object, have their blood spray out of the cut like a Super Soaker shoots water. They must have a high internal pressure for this to happen. Because of the cut, xenmorphs often die after their skin is broken by a bullet. Fourth, they fear fire. Fifth, they are very strong and very fast. Sixth, the drones, soldiers, royal guards, and queens are all intelligent and are capable of learning. Seventh, they act as hives, not single creatures. This means that if the queen dies, the colony dies, just like in an ant colony. Eighth, the queen has royal guards, which are like soldiers on steroids. Ninth, the queen is the most intelligent. All of her children obey her. If she sees a threat, like in 'Aliens:Director's Cut', when Ripley was near the queen and about to be killed by royal guards, she threatened to toast the eggs in the queen's chamber. The queen then sent her royal guards elsewhere, to protect the eggs. Tenth, xenomorphs have a second jaw, which can be used to kill by biting through the spine, skull, ect. Eleventh, they don't need light to see. Tweleth, they can climb walls easily and can hide well. They can also jump extraordinary distances. Thirteenth, the queen has six arms, and could probably destroy a tank if she wanted to. Her tail also has a barbed end, which is used as a weapon. Fourteenth, they are incredibly effective at killing. In 'Alien', it killed 6 people in less than 12 hours. Fifteenth, they cocoon people so that they can't run from the facehuggers. Anyone in these cocoons is probably already impregnated, so if they ask you to kill them, do it, because it kills the alien growing inside of them. That's what I know. Any questions?"
One scientist in the back raised his hand.
"Yes?" Sigourney asked.
"Well, you said they have acid for blood," the scientist said, "And I was thinking, wouldn't that mean that a base, like lye, wouldn't that dilute the acid, causing them to lose all of their blood?"
"That's a good question," Sigourney said, "Unfortunately, I don't know the answer, although we could try it. Any more questions? No? Okay then, what ideas have you people come up with that could be used as a battle plan?"
