Elliot and the others walked towards the city. When they got close to the city they noticed that most of the city's inhabitants were animals walking on 2 legs there were a few humans but they all walked with the animals as if being led. Chip looked around worried.
"You don't think that humans are their pets, do you?"
"Of course not." Alex said trying more to ease the same thought running through his mind. "But just in case it might be a good idea if Gregg changed back into one of them."
"I'll try but I can't promise anything."
Gregg concentrated on his form. He was going to change back into a wolf but decided that he would be better off trying to gain as much respect as he could from the inhabitants so he tried a lion. After a minute he still stood there human and openned his eyes.
"What's wrong?" Jessie asked
"I don't know it wouldn't let me do anything."
"Maybe it has to be triggered by an electrical jolt." Chip commented.
"No, I don't think that's it. Hold on let me try again."
Gregg focused his mind again only this time choosing the wolf form. Almost immediately he felt his senses increase and opened his eyes again. Sure enough he had become a wolf again.
He looked down at his paws. They wouldn't do him much good if he couldn't grip anything so he tried to lengthen the digits and regain his thumb and they popped back into place, just like a human hand except with fur, a rough feeling on the palms, and long, sharp claws.
