Little did either know that what didn't matter this time around was the store, but rather what was directly behind them. Above Rick's head in the shot was a sign which pointed out which section they were in. The camera would twist this knowledge, and blend Rick and Emily's lives to better fit with this trend.
FLASH
And so it did here. Rick felt himself transform, and once again knew the camera had screwed him, or rather once again her, over. He glanced down, and staring back at him were to very large mounds, pushing his shirt out. As he looked down, to cascades of curly red hair fell along his breasts. He had to look up fast, realizing he was no wearing glasses.
He also realized his hair wasn't... well kept. It was knotty, and sat on top of his head was some kind of knitted, wide beanie. He checked his glasses as he put them into place and was shocked by how round they were. He looked down to see a scarf, a purple tie-die t-shirt, and very skinny jeans which outlined his now very wide hips.
"Jeez this thing has it out for me." He sighed in a much higher tone. "Look Em, the damned thing made me like a hippie or... some... thing?"
Rick stopped, upon realizing that Em wasn't standing where she had been. In fact, after a quick glance around, Rick realized she wasn't anywhere.
"Em? Emily you there?!" He called out to no response.
Rick then began to panic. He started patting down and taking off parts of his new look, checking all the tags. Had she turned into clothing? His mind raced as he thought of other possibilities. "What if she's a bug, or an amoeba?! Oh fuck what if she's an embryo!" He thought, grasping his stomach in fear.
His panic was rising, until a bit of hope appeared. The camera's pictures! He had forgotten, the camera was supposed to print out physical pictures, maybe that'd show him the truth. Upon examining it, he found the reason it wasn't printing pictures was because you had to physically press a button for it to come out. So he figured Emily pressed it the first time but never after that.
Rick began to frantically press the button, causing all the changes from before to fall out. This went on until one picture finally came which showed his current form. He looked at it and gawked. The woman in the picture looked like she could be like, an older hot sister of his, but she was definitely a bit of a sloppy hippie/indie girl. However, the thing that really caught his attention was what was behind the woman. It wasn't the barnes and nobles, but outside. And standing where Emily had been standing was a large, Oak tree.
"Oh shit." Rick gasped.

When the FLASH died down, Emily felt... stiff. She felt like her arms were being held out in the air, and was standing up pretty straight. There was also this gross feeling around her feet, like she was standing in mud. She opened her eyes, but had to do a double take mentally. Instead of looking forward she had full 360 degree vision!
She could see she was standing out in a small field, surrounded by trees somewhat nearby. There was a bench just in front of her, and the wide open blue sky above. For some reason, as the sunlight's warmth strike her head and hair, she felt like she was... eating? Every time the clouds covered it, the feeling went away.
"Um, hello!" She tried to call out. "Rick, are you there!" She called out mentally, though she couldn't hear any words come out. "Anyone!?" She tried again to no avail.
She saw the sun come out, and for some reason it didn't blind her. She felt that food eating feeling again, and as the wind blew and the trees nearby swayed, she felt her hair flutter and her arms move slightly. That's when a woodpecker landed right on her tits! She would've screamed if she could've, and would've continued to as it started to peck her boobs.
"O-ow! You damn bird scram!" She mentally called.
That's when she saw it, and it was confirmed. Her breasts didn't look like breasts, they were fused, and long... like a tree branch. She was a tree. A TREE.
"O-oh God." She thought as the woodpecker flew away. "Rick? Rick! Someone! This sucks please help me!" She called internally, but outside the new oak tree just stood there, with its leaves and branches gently swaying in the wind.
