Christina awoke a little later than usual. She had the day off work and, other than getting a few errands done, she felt like she had earned herself some time to relax. She sat up in bed, still dressed in the t-shirt and panties she had been sleeping in, and picked up her phone. She checked her social media feeds first, nothing too exciting there for her, before moving onto her email. It was there, among the obvious spam mail and apparently unmissable special offers from companies she sometimes bought from, that one particular message caught her eye. Strangely, it came from someone simply named as 'anonymous' and was titled 'Check your cyoc account'.
At first this felt like just another spam email. It took her a moment to even remember what cyoc was before, with embarrassment, she recalled the time when, bored and a little tipsy, she had posted a chapter about herself on a transformation fetish website. She had tried to forget all about that impulsive, uncharacteristic act. She didn't want to be a toy for strangers with all manner of fetishes to play with and had hoped her 'story' would never be seen again. She realised when signing up to write her chapter she had given an email address and decided she should log on to the site to ask them to close her account and remove all of her details.
It took her a few guesses before her password was accepted and she was back on the site. There was an ominous red mark next to the notifications bell at the top of the page. Clicking on it, she found that someone had added a new chapter to the post she had long forgotten about. This instinctively annoyed her. Why would someone do that after all of this time? She hadn't been back to add any sort of update in years, surely it should have been clear she was done with it.
Worse still was the nature of the chapter. It seemed to be an open invitation for anyone on the site to mess with her in any way they wanted. To transform and humiliate her. Why would someone do this? Were they teaching her a lesson? Was she only fun to mess with now she was neither expecting nor asking for it?
The most unsettling thing was that whoever the mysterious writer was seemed to be suggesting that she would be effected in real life by whatever might be written about her. That seemed too crazy to be true and if somebody was trying to scare her it wasn't working. She closed the window down and promised herself she would never return to the site again. It had been several hours and, though the chapter had received a worrying number of favourites nobody had actually added to it. And even if they did, it wasn't like anything could actually happen to her.
Christina got out of bed and began to get dressed. She wasn't some plaything for perverts, she was going to get on with her day as usual and forget about cyoc forever.
