Mary was flabbergasted as she looked at the polaroid picture that had just been developed. Not even a moment ago, she was standing with her husband, baby, teenage son, and young daughter. But in the picture she was looking at, and just behind her were two other people who looked like versions of her children, Trevor and Jenny. The biggest difference with the two of them though was that they were wearing wedding rings and Jenny herself was pregnant.
"Trevor? Jenny?! Oh my god, you're pregnant!" Mary said with a shock.
"Uh, yeah Mary for like the last four months now, where have you been?" Jenny said.
"She's still surprised probably that we asked her to be godmother." Trevor suggested.
"Godmother? But I'm not...you two are....where's Phil?" Mary asked looking around.
"Phil? I don't know any Phil. What about you, babe, do you know a Phil?" Jenny asked her husband.
"Phil? Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure, Mary dated him for a while before she called it off with him. I was helping her get through the split and during that time is when you and I met. That was over a year ago, Mary, what brought that on?" Trevor asked.
"What? No, but....where's....what about....do you know anyone named Chris?"
"Chis? That's a nice name. I think we could call our baby that. Chris, if it's a boy and Christine, if it's a girl." Jenny said rubbing her belly.
Mary still couldn't believe this. Her kids weren't related to her anymore, and Jenny was now pregnant, possibly with Chris or Christine. She looked at the polaroid camera and realized that the camera was what had been responsible. She considered using it again on Trevor and Jenny, but didn't want to risk anything knowing that Jenny was pregnant. She left them alone and went into a room, that used to be her daughter's room, but now looked like her own private room.
"Okay, if thing can make me different, and I didn't notice the changes, maybe it was because I used the camera last. So, let's see what happens when I use it on myself." Mary said as she set the camera up again and posed on the bed.
