Ty comes to a clearing with a spring in it. Above, the sun is directly overhead, reflecting off the spring in a pleasing way. It was a very hot day, which seemed incongruous with the storm that had marooned him on this island. Regardless, he was in dire need of a drink, so didn't think too hard about how convenient the spring was. He knelt down and brought water to his mouth with his cupped hands, gulping it down, before filling his hands again. Lying down in the sun, as he laughed in relief at finally getting the required water, he failed to notice that his voice was a slightly higher pitch at rest than it had been before. Or that his adam's apple had shrunk very slightly. He also failed to notice his eyelashes had gotten longer.
