You walk through through the doors and into a hallway. Before you, you see another doll. This one's a rag-doll all made of cloth with mittens for hands, yarn for hair and clad in a maid outfit. She waves at you as you enter.
"Hello! My name's Ally Cross-stich and welcome to the Toyland Transformative Resort. And you are?" Like yours, her voice is tinny.
"Lucy and Lilian." Lily replies, gesturing to both of you.
"Yes." You say, somewhat embarrassed by your new name.
"First time here?" Ally asked.
"Yes it is."
"Well you're in for an experience unlike any other." Annie hands you both a pamplet with a map. "Here's a guide to Toyland, including events for the next two weeks, special locations and some frequently asked questions. I hope you two will have a beautiful time in our land of toys."
"Thank you." You say as you walk through a second door into a plaza. It's fairly busy and you notice a substantial crowd walking around, all of which are living toys. There's a bunch of Barbies gossiping, a few ragdolls out and about, a couple of porcelain dolls like you and Lucy are window shopping and what look like living teddy bears and other plush creatures enjoying the pleasant weather. On the stage several marionettes put on a play and a couple of action figures were showing their stuff to a mixed crowd.
You soon see a trolley and get onboard. A few minutes latter your at a set of cozy row-houses. You find your suite and walk in. Most hotels you've gone into are designed to be comfortable but largely neutral. This one is a fairly colourful display of Victorian over-design with a set of portraits and paintings, all of which are of dolls one way or another.
"Well Lilian." Lucy says "What would you like to do now?"
