"She is unlikely to be a former human, as she allowed a bull to mount her, she is obviously well taken care of, we will not miss a single heifer, and moving her with all the rebells around would be troublesome, so you may keep her if you wish." Mikhail said, seemingly unwilling to spend any more time or effort for the sake of a single cow.
The farmer was clearly happy with this. "Of course! She is very productive, so we would be more than happy to keep her here." He said happily, while shaking the other man's hand.
Mikhail nodded. "Good. In that case i have no further business here. You will be sent a deed of ownership soon." He spoke a spell and disappeared in a flash, leaving behind a surprised farmer, and a desperate Milka, who he hadn't noticed trying to get his attention.
The farmer finally spotted Milka and walked over, patting her head. "Looks like you'll be staying with us after all."
His eyes moved up from her, looking over to the bulls. "I guess i won't have to keep the bulls away from you anymore." He said, patting her head again, before walking off with a smile, while the former prince vacantly watched.
The only hope left was that Mikhail would mention seeing a cow with their family crest to Anya, and that she would put things together and realize who said cow is, but that chance was slim.
