Victoria Palmer waved good bye to her co-workers she walked out the door. Her shift was finally over and the first thing she wanted to do was just jump in the shower and hose off. It'd been a bit of a rough shift with at least two emergencies she had to help with. Least she would have the next day off.
She raised her arms over her head in a stretch as she took the elevator. Just easier to do so when this tired. At times she cursed the fact she parked at the top of the garage but hey, no one else wanted to. Which meant she always found a good spot when she came to work. Easy to get in, easy to get out, only took a few extra minutes.
Something felt a little off though. The lights were flickering just a bit and the extra cloud coverage made it just a little darker than normal. That was a little weird; both things. Workers had made a big show about replacing the lights after a few thefts happened and the forecast was supposed to be a clear night. Well..., she did have pepper spray in her purse if something happened.
No creep or spook assaulted her though as she got into her car. Rather than experiencing the horrors of an attack; she had to deal with the realization that her car was dead. She turned the key a few times and while it sputtered, it never clicked on. She opened her car door and stepped out, taking out her mobile phone as she walked back to the elevator. Victoria's plan was to just call someone to come get it while she found a ride with someone. But she simply found her cell phone to be dead.
"ARE YOU..., just..., what a day." she muttered as she put it away in a huff.
She was so focused on her frustration was doing, she didn't even notice the ship moving out of the clouds or the beam of light it started produced. Mid step, the paralysis beam locked onto her and started to pull the nurse up, her leg still outstretched in mid step. Her body barely moved as she was lifted into the sky more like a manikin than a person. The beam loaded her into a bay at the bottom of the ship, before slowly moving back into the clouds and further up into the night sky.

"That went better than I expected." Emily quipped as she left the controls and walked down the hallway.
"I know! I'm surprised I got it on my first!" Ricki said, her voice basically vibrating.
They had decided to try and find someone that could possibly make the process easier. Either a tech to help Ricki study the tech or some sort of medical expert to help with the changes. One rock paper scissors game later, a little hard to do for Ricki, they had decided on the medical expert. Hovering above a city in the US(Emily forgot which one but knew it was in the northeast) they found that the ship could deploy a few orb shaped camera drones.
It took a bit to find the hospitals in the city and a little while longer to find someone who looked like they'd be an easy snag. With the aware setting, they could always cover their tracks but they didn't want to just snag someone in the middle of a group. So they waited it a nurse or doctor looked to be leaving before moving in.
The nurse, who still had her name tag on so Victoria, had been placed inside one of the small cells of the ship. Currently she was still in the force field that kept her in stasis, so she wasn't freaking out right now. Completely at Emily's mercy and the camera.
"So... you can get the camera to effect her in there?" she asked, turning to a small screen that had popped out of the wall.
Ricki's face appeared on the screen, looking far more female than before. He did say he felt more feminine and had swapped pronouns but seeing what was his face styled into a woman's... would take a little getting used to. She did look cute though with bright eyes and wavy hair though how much of that was due to the digital graphics she didn't know.
"Yeah all I have to do is reroute it to the security camera that's right overhead of her."
A loud whirling sound was heard from beyond the cell door and Ricki gave a thumbs up. As in her avatar turned into a hand and gave the gesture.
"Ready to roll on your order!"
Emily cupped her chin in thought.
