The times were bleak and chaotic, millions died every year, wars, famines, the Terran-Lunar civil war and the moon’s subsequent destruction left the planet almost inhospitable. An artificial satellite called LunSat-1 was employed to replace it, provided by NormCorp, allowing them to build a stranglehold over every industry on the planet.
The mega corporation controlled almost every aspect of life, either directly or indirectly: the military which granted them unchecked power to enforce their will on a worldwide scale. Pharmaceutical companies that sold medications and treatments meant to keep the population docile, ignorant…normal. The entertainment industry which distracted and brainwashed the public into thinking and living the way NormCorp wanted and they controlled education; ensuring each generation was more obedient then the last.
The world was on the brink of collapse, recourses were being used up.
The future was uncertain but the past was not.
The past was relatively easy to navigate, and it’s contents simple to decipher. Time travel was easy, provided you had a 16,000,000,000,000 unit quantum sealed quartz capsule. Because of this, the more efficient way for someone to alter the past was using Trandroids: state of the art synthetic humanoids that mimics humans much more convincingly than the silver and fur Maid-Droids of the past. With mechanical insides and synthetic human skin, the only thing that gave them away as such was a perfect ring shaped indent at the base of the neck. Each Trandroid was build with a Soul Drive, technology that became abundant suddenly in the late 21st century. To ensure complete control an obedience chip was installed to suppress the personality and free will inherent in Soul Drives.
T-AJ68 was one of these advanced machines, she was designed to look like a typical teenage girl with a fair, freckled complexion, silky blonde hair and cyan eyes.
Currently she was wearing a white plastic bodysuit and her hair was tied into a tight ponytail. She stood at attention in the secret lab located in LunSat-1, being programmed with for her mission.
In front of her was a multi ringed device that was used to open a tunnel through time, everywhere around her scientists in white jumpsuits went about their work, one of which was her creator Dr. Hector Gonzal. He was preparing the final touches to her internally integrated weapon systems, T-AJ68 thought of him as a father even though her obedience chip created shot of pain when she thought in such a way. He was new to this facility but was the most brilliant scientist NormCorp had ever seen.
She was designed specifically for this mission and was eager to prove herse—— //accomplish its primary function// her systems corrected.
A nearby elevator opened and out walked an old woman, she appeared to be in her 90s but she had used advanced technology to become practically immortal, still her frame was fragile as she used a cane with a fist shaped handle. Everything about her was orderly and proper: her white hair was pulled into a very tight bun, she wore thick framed glasses and a grey pants suit with blouse buttoned up all the way properly.
Dr. Gonzal turned from T-AJ68 to greet the old woman,
“Hannah, it’s an honor to—“ he was cut off by the woman.
“Director Miller will do, I like to keep things formal around here Dr. Gonzal.” She said. Her tone was measured and strict.
The Director walked up to the blonde droid and examined her, the doctor joined at her side.
“My latest work, Director Miller, this unit is by far the strongest of the T-3 line: advanced bio mimicry, top of the line combat AI, integrated 8-megaton grade weapons, 7th generation Soul Drive with c-26 obedience processor. Her A7 quarkfiber muscles increase strength, and its agility allows her to maneuver like a monkey through the jungle.” He informed.
Director Miller’s head jerked slightly at the last part but her face remained its usual stoic, slightly judgmental expression.
She then turned to another scientist,
“Do you have a lock of the chrono destination?” She said.
“Yes director: early 21st century, North America.” The scientist replied promptly.
With a nod of the old woman’s head the scientists hooked up the android girl to a track leading to the interlocking circles and retreated with the Director to the observation deck. Dr. Gonzal put his hand on her shoulder and with a nod he left to join the others.
Then the circles began spinning faster and faster until a bright blur light enveloped the the chamber. T-AJ68 was brought closer to the machine with the tracks before releasing her and he was violently pulled into the light. The next thing she knew she stubbed on a fence, she scanned around and was informed that she was on the school grounds of her target location, all she needed to do was infiltrate the school, an easy task as her chameleon unit could fabricate new clothes and hairstyle to blend in with others
