After a while Jeff gets an idea, “I think it’ll be fun if I could test it out with my sister,” he mumbles to himself.
Jeff and his little sister Ashley get along pretty well, sure they fight and annoy each other a lot, but that is just normal. Thinking about sharing the Chronivac with his sister could really be fun, they could transform each other, of course, Jeff would make some rules, so that he nor Ashley would do anything that the other does not want. Jeff smiles to himself, this will end up being a very interesting and fun weekend, since he and Ashley were the only ones home, their parents both out on business trips.
The teen gets up from his seat and walks to his sister’s room and knocks on the door, “Ashley, may I come in,” he asks.
“Okay,” Jeff hears the confused voice of his sister, when he opens the door, he sees the 10 year-old girl sitting on her bed with a confused expression on her face, “Jeff, you never come to my room. What do you want?”
Jeff rubs the back of his neck, “Ashley, I…,” he starts, “I wanted to say that, I am not always nice to you. We annoy each other a lot, but I figured, instead of… you know… fighting with each other, I’d like for us to get along. So… I got this new… um… game I’d like to try, but it would be more fun if I could try it with someone.”
Ashley raises an eyebrow, “why not call a friend?”
“I… I dunno,” Jeff says, “I really would like you to be my… um… testing-partner.”
“What kind of game is it,” the girl asks.
“It’s… it’s kind of a reality alteration editor, apparently it is able to transform anyone and anything into various stuff and also alter the reality,” Jeff says.
“Hm… sounds kinda dangerous, if you ask me,” Ashley says, “you sure it’s safe? What if something goes wrong?”
Jeff nods, “I thought of that,” he says, “that is why I’d like the two of us to try the game out. If something should go wrong, the other would be able to stop the transformation/change at any time.”
“Hm…,” Ashley says, “you know, if this game is really able to do all that, there ARE a few things I would like to try. Okay, Jeff… I’ll be your partner.”
Jeff smiles, “cool,” he says, “then follow me.”
When they enter Jeff’s room the boy sits down on his chair and Ashley sits on her brother’s bed, “so, before we start,” Jeff says, “I suggest we make some rules.”
“Like what?”
“For one: we should not mess with the “mental change” option,” he says, “and we should let the other know what is about to change, or at least ask him/her what he/she would like to have changed.”
Ashley nods, “yeah, I agree,” she says, “I really wouldn’t like it if my mind gets all muddled up.”
“Okay,” Jeff says, “who should start?”
