As Darren and his friends disembarked they were taken aback by the tall, ornately carved pillars that seemed to starch upward forever, guards like the ones outside in the city lined the walls. Sabbethas walked forward a bit before turning to the group,
“Now, as our esteemed guests you will be provided the very best accommodations, if you will follow me I will show you to rooms, hyuk.” The horned man said.
The group followed him, Travis stuck close to Darren and Gail, using his body to keep the The new strangers from his friends. Chanel herself looked around at the majestic surroundings, it appeared this was her first time in this place like them. Tomura seemed to have his guard up like Travis, his hand hovered above one of his six swords.
As they were lead up a grand spiraling staircase Darren had unconsciously taken Gail’s hand in his. When they finally reached a floor they were then we to a series of tall hallways with intricate and elegant doors lining the walls. Suddenly the group each had fancy keys appear in their hands.
“Each of you has just been gifted a key to your room, they are magical: any door you stick this key into will create a gateway to your room here in this castle, hyuk.”
“That’s incredible.” Gail was the first to speak up after the long walk in silence.
“You are most welcome Lady Wright, hyuk.” He replied with a bow.
“You said Darren was supposed to be this Prince Caleas’ bride or something?” Travis asked.
“Correct Master Travis. Your friend is without a doubt the prophesied Princess Of Light hyuk!” He exclaimed.
“But Darren is a boy.” Gail spoke up again.
Sabbethas hovered towards the group and bent backwards to look at the young catalyst.
“How could I forget hyuk?!” The blonde exclaimed.
With a blue glow he brought out a naginata that had a polished white wood shaft that looked like marble and a golden blade. The weapon had purple silk wrappings and intricate engravings in the metal.
He presented the weapon to Darren with a low bow.
“This scepter can only be awoken by the Princess of light, the prophecy has foretold that the princess will wield tremendous power and bring peace to the realms. Hyuk.” He said in reverence.
Daren hesitated but decided to take the spear, believing that nothing would happen. However surprising everyone but Sabbethas, the boy and spear both glowed a brilliant blueish-purple and the others could sense a massive amount of magic and power.
When the light subsided Darren’s appearance had changed: his brown hair lengthened with blonde tips that curled at the bottom in slight ringlets. On his head was a gold, thin circlet that resembled intersecting vines with an almost glowing purple gem at its center. His gender had changed to female and she had a petite feminine frame with flawless pale skin, her previous clothing had changed to a simple silk white dress with gold trimmings. His, now her, friends were shocked by the transformation.
“What the hell!?” Travis barked.
“What’s going on? What did you do to Darren?” Gail asked blushing at her friend’s new cute appearance.
“Nothing, this transformation is proof that she is the Princess that was foretold, hyuk!” Sabbethas announced with excitement.
“Is this permanent?!” Darren, now Daria, asked in her new cute girly voice.
“Of course! You are the Princess of light after all, hyuk!” He replied.
Daria now gripped her new weapon tightly and looked at her friends and all shared unsure glances.
“I understand that this is all exciting but the night draws near and you all will be meeting with the King tomorrow. Please retire to your rooms, bathes have been drawn for you all and you will of course be provided with new, more appropriate clothes if you are to meet his grace, hyuk.” The holy demon stated.
Unsure what to do the group simply did as they were asked and went to their rooms, tomorrow would be an interesting day and hopefully the group would have more answers in the morning.
