Hailey woke still feeling weak, when she did so a man gently guided her head back down onto a stack of pillows.
“Whoa there miss, you’re too sick to sit up, just stay there, youve been out for a few days. Kelly get her some water!” He said.
She looked over and saw that the voice belonged to a handsome young man with tousled brown hair, his eyes were a bright blue and kind. He had muscular tan skin and wore only a pair of red swimming shorts.
Then a blonde girl with large breasts barely contained by her tight red one piece swimsuit knelt down and handed the man a cup of water. He carefully lifted her head and had her drink, once the water went down her throat she shot up and violently spit out the liquid and started coughing. Being a vampire mean she couldn’t eat or drink anything but blood, the water they had her drink tasted as foul as sewer water.
“Damn she can’t keep anything down, Kelly get James to—“ he was cut off by the vampire.
“— n-no, I’m fine. All I need is…” she trailed off as her vision became increasingly blurred and red.
Hailey found herself staring at the young man’s neck; his jugular veins held the sweet promise of sustenance, the key to stopping the pain. She fought against this ever growing feeling, she had never attacked a human. She used to think others like her were monsters, but now she came to realize the hunger that now gripped her could drive people to commit such acts: it gnawed at your soul until a hungry hollow creature remained.
“Where am I? Who are you?” Was all she could manage while the stranger guided her exhausted body back into the mattress that sat in the corner of the room and under various blankets.
She wanted to get back up and leave to find Henry but she was too tired, she knew she needed to feed soon but it was to dangerous to stay, she didn’t want to hurt anyone.
“It’s alright Miss, your safe. I’m Jonas and she’s Kelly.” He said gesturing to the busty blonde.
“As to where you are? That’s kind of a long story, we’ll talk to you once you get better.” Jonas said.
Hailey furrowed her brow, she wouldn’t get better, the only thing that could get her back in her feet was blood. But there was no way she would willingly attack a human being, she just hoped her willpower would continue to keep back the monster inside.

Henry erupted from a large pile of rubble,
“That’s the last time I ride coach.” He said but then realized his partner was nowhere to be seen.
He tried to pick up her scent but the fire and debris made it difficult, Henry tried his radio but got static. Looking at his surroundings he saw that the VTOL had been decimated, something he knew was unusual for a simple storm.
“If I didn’t know any better I could swear someone was trying to kill us.” He observed with dry wit.
Looking at the jungle before him, he decided to move inland with his weapon drawn. As he made his way through the thick foliage he occasionally detected shuffling noises with his enhanced hearing.
He knew that the strange green clouds weren’t natural, most likely this place was under some kind of spell, most likely a dark wizard.
With his finger on the trigger he continued onward.
