Josh wants to use the his VIP powers on Anna again. He focused, and once again he found himself in that white room.
He pulled up Anna's profile, and there he could see a history of changes, the mental change he made to her earlier, and her change into an Asian girl. Her Asian transformation was tagged with "aware", and that's what he wanted to change, so he switched it to "unaware".
Josh wasn't done yet. By changing his fiancées heritage, he'd changed her past, and he was curious how. He looked at her family tree, and instead of her all white American parentage, she had a different set, and seemed to be a second generation Chinese Immigrant. Her Chinese name was Bai Peizhi, but she mostly used her western name Anna. Continuing to explore her profile, he saw that she knew spoke some Chinese, though she was far from proficent.
Josh decided upon a few edits. Instead of her Chinese family emigrating before Anna's birth, how about changing so they never did. Instead Anna didn't come to America until she started University there.
With the edit, her whole history shimmered into a new one. Now, Anna spoke both perfect Mandarin and her parents' dialect. Her English was no longer native but it was described as near native level fluency.
Josh pulled up more of her personal and saw that their relationship was still fiancé and fiancée, and that they met each other in college just as they originally had. Anna also worked the same job and had the same relationship with her coworkers. While a lot about her past had changed, it seemed like the resort had kept what could be kept the same.
Josh focused on leaving the VIP room, and with that, the white room faded away.
He was once again back in his suite, with his Asian fiancée lookimg at him.
"So, what should we try out first?" she asked him.
With her awareness of her Asian change being retconned, she didn't know she'd already tried the room. Josh chuckled. More interesting than that was how he could her Anna's voice being accented.
"Hmm. Do you have any suggestions? he asked her, wanting to hear her speak more.
"I'm not sure. Like there's a lot of things I'd always wanted to change about me, tiny imperfections and such, but I figured it's better to start with a bang, no?"
"Mhm." Josh nodded. He enjoyed listening to her speak. She had a Chinese accent, but it wasn't just her accent, like before he heard her, he'd imagined Anna through a Chinese accent filter, but it was different than that and maybe more subtle. This Anna just felt like a different person with both how her voice and her whole cadence of speech was different. It turned him on.
Anna listed of various transformation ideas before she settled on something.
