Andy was filled with excitement as he scoured the living room for any last-minute additions to his Halloween costume. He had a knack for leaving things until the eleventh hour, much to his dad Luke's amusement. Their small home was adorned with fake cobwebs, jack-o'-lanterns, and eerie decorations, setting the perfect atmosphere for the evening ahead.
As Andy rummaged through a box of old trinkets, he stumbled upon a peculiar coin, shimmering with an otherworldly glow. He picked it up, examining it with curiosity. The coin was unlike anything he'd ever seen before; it had intricate patterns etched into its surface, and its edges were oddly sharp. It was as if it had been plucked from a fairy tale.
"Hey, Dad!" Andy called out as he made his way to the bathroom, where Luke had just finished his shower. "Look what I found!"
Luke, his muscular physique on full display, had a towel wrapped around his waist. He grinned at Andy's enthusiasm. "What's got you all excited, champ?"
Andy held up the mysterious coin. "I found this in that old box over there. Isn't it cool? I think it's a magic coin!"
Luke chuckled, his deep voice filling the room. "Magic coin, huh? Let me see." He extended a hand to take the coin from Andy, still skeptical. As he examined it, he couldn't deny that it had an unusual aura about it. "Well, it's definitely unique, but magic? Come on, there's no such thing as magic coins."
Andy frowned, reluctant to let go of his newfound belief. "But what if it is, Dad? What if it grants wishes or something?"
Luke, still wearing a playful grin, tousled his son's hair. "Wishes, huh? You know magic isn’t real. Now let’s talk costumes. We have Superman and Batman, a firefighter and Dalmatian, a lifeguard and shark, Tarzan and a monkey, The Hulk and captain America, a police officer and robber, and a spartan warrior and toga.”
