In certain corners of the multiverse, if one was lucky, they would come across an unusual street in their city. That street, from the outside at least, would look like any other, lined with all manner of places for people to visit, shop from, or otherwise obtain services. That street and the businesses which occupied it, however, could very easily change a person's life, particularly if they were a woman.
That street was Amazon Avenue.
While the names of the particular businesses might vary from one world to the next, each one served a particular purpose. There would be a fitness center, where women could work out and exercise. A women's clothing store. A spa. An eatery that sold various drinks. A bookstore. A pharmacy. One for various adult-themed pursuits. The most surprising thing among these, especially given the latter, was an inter-faith church. On the outside they seemed innocuous enough, but those women who frequent them would find themselves becoming Amazons - strong, confident, beautiful women more than able to defend themselves or those they cared for. No greater friend, no worse enemy, and no more devoted lover, with a lucky few gaining eternal life and eternal youth.
The magic of the avenue and its stores had its limits, of course. It had no effect upon men, and very little effect upon women under the age of eighteen. Those men who underwent gender reassignment to become women and made use of the avenue's facilities would find themselves changing such that they may as well have been born as women in the first place. It could subtly alter a woman's perceptions, but not to turn her into a rampaging killer or a vicious monster; they would instead be more inclined towards virtuous acts and behaviors, only using the appropriate amount of violence to defend themselves and those they held dear. They would never needlessly harm anyone or anything. And it could not alter one's sexual preferences - straight, lesbian, bisexual, asexual, or whatever their inclination, they would retain their previous attractions.
Anyone was welcome, of course, so long as they treated others with dignity and respect. If not, then they would find themselves in for a world of hurt. So why not visit Amazon Avenue? Even if you don't realize it, it could change your life, and perhaps even the world, for the better.
