Hailey had just exited the bar when she saw that Geshp was waiting for her with a limo, something slightly demonic emanated from the vehicle. She begrudgingly got in when he opened the door for her,
“What kept you Agent Meyers?” He asked, his voice as smooth as ever.
“I was getting ready.” She responded and hoped he wouldn’t see through her lie, she wasn’t exactly dressed up for the occasion.
“We’ll, shall we be off?” He said and entered, motioning to the driver’s tinted window.
“All this for a wrestling event?” Hailey asked feeling nervous inside the luxurious vehicle.
Geshp looked around before settling in his seat, seeming to sense her anxiety.
“If you prefer a more low key transport I could always just change the car to a truck or RV or something.” The devil responded.
“It’s fine, I just don’t want to attract any attention.” She said, nervously adjusting in her seat.
Geshp slicked his wrist but Hailey could see no change in the limo.
“What did you do?” She asked.
“I simply made this limo hard to focus on, it will keep people from noticing us.” He answered.
Hailey didn’t say anything else but nodded her head slightly. After a half hour of driving with Geshp asking her all kinds of personal questions, she did her best to answer them vaguely and not giving him too much detail. She liked to keep things to herself and still didn’t trust the demon, besides they worked together so it was best to not mix things. Plus she couldn’t stop thinking about what Jolie had told her; was any of that true? Or was she just saying those things to plant added of distrust? They were her captors after all, and that girl seemed to like getting under people’s skin.
Then they had arrived at the arena, there were crowds of excited and enthusiastic fans.
Hailey was almost overwhelmed at the large crowd and the excitement was heavy in the air, she’d never been to a place like this before, there were even stalls selling food and she was a little disappointed that she wouldn’t be able to eat any of it, plus she had already filled up on blood before they got here. Geshp led the blonde through the eager masses and to their flor seats, Hailey had to admit the seats were quite good; giving them an unobstructed close view of the center fighting stage.
Because of Hailey’s vampirism she didn’t order anything but her devilish companion had ordered a large amount of food and a very tall glass of beer, she could sense that he was extremely excited over all this.
It felt strange seeing the man who appeared as a cunning and ruthless demon lord be excited for a human activity such as this.
True to his word the devil had taken time to explain how everything worked and the who’s who of the wrestling world. Hailey had no interest in such things but she was moved to see how passionate he was about this and followed along for the time being.
When the warm up matches ended Geshp and the crowd were hyped and the bell signified that the main event had started.
