"Bruno, we can't talk here. I'll meet you at the Y's pool tonight. We can have a private conversation then," Brad said in a harsh whisper.
"What time?"
"10 pm. Free Swim Time. You can go earlier swim laps. I might swim a few laps first, then accidentally run into you, and..."
"Brad, can you help me with this junk I found in the spare room?"
Brad's face showed confusion. Then realization, "spare room? Oh, Chad's bedroom? They shouldn't remember him even if they see a photo or trophy or something?"
Bruno shrugged, "First time, I used that spell. It seemed to work as advertised on you, Brad."
"Brad, Aunt Fritzi is coming. We need to clean out the spare room. Help me move your surfboard!"
"Surfb- oh, right, Chad's room. Chad's board," Brad said, "I'll see you tonight at 10."
"Bring the money," Bruno said as the door closed.
Chad was dumbfounded. His mother never heard of him, and his brother only remembered him after seeing him in Speedo form. What was all this clandestine shit? Meet Bruno accidentally at 10 pm at the Y? Bring the money? Was Brad or Bruno or both responsible for Chad being naked and tiny, and shaped like a Speedo in Bruno's jeans pocket. He squirmed frantically trying to escape.
Bruno pulled Chad out of his pocket, as he walked toward his bicycle.
"So, Chad, your brother seems to forget you pretty easily. If I'm lucky tonight, he will pay for the service but forget to take the merchandise. Hm, I got almost 5 hours to kill? Let's see I can grab an impossible burger on the way to the Y, then get in 3 or 4 hours of laps before Brad is due," Bruno said to the Speedo. Then he added, "Bet you're feeling pretty empty inside? Nobody seems to remember you, except me. You are made now to be filled with a real man..."
"Yo, Bruno, Chad!" Rick shouted as he drove by.
Bruno waved with the Speedo in his hand. Then he buried it deep inside his pocket. Chad was elated, Rick would rescue him. Provided out of sight didn't also mean out of mind.
