Dawn breaks, and the early morning light awakens me. Jumping outta my bedroll. I start stretching, dropping easily into a split then into a joking series of what I think ballet dancers do for warm ups, enjoying the ease and freedom of movement my body was capable of. After warming up I at the last of the bandits rations and packed what I needed from the camp. The Shifters had ran off at some point, taking most of the supplies, when I attacked the bandits. No point wasting time on it though I turned to the geometric rocky out crops that made up the ruins. A grey pyramid like structure that buried itself deep into the ground, as Tony I'd done some exploring of the ruins apparently there's an oasis in its depths used to facilitate the level-cap break quest for silver rank adventurers. Ryker being from outta town went through a different ceremony, apparently my church conducted the level break when I on advanced to a Lv. 20 Cleric.
Shifting to Ryker I grab the supplies and head down into the dungeons depths. Arming myself with a Trident I cast [Light] onto it illuminating the walls in pale blue light, ancient ruins covered the grey walls eventually the path opened up to a well-lit cavern with a series of pathways. Shifting to Tony I narrow my eyes looking for any signs of the lost silver rank adventurer. I spot signs a battle near one of the paths a scattering of once chared bones and dried blood leading further in. The path was lit by scones of mystic purple light, my ears detected the sound of shuffling and clacking of bones. Dropping into a crouch I attempt to stealth in, traveling down the path I find more charred skeletal remains. The path leads to another open space a large intricate door takes up most of this space, pounding at the floor is a half dozen skeletons all armed with stolen weapons from killed adventurers. Noticing for the first time all the skeletons look like human remains, a memory plays in my mind of being at the temple of Undine studying great tomes, Ryker learned that necromancers would pull spirits from places unknown to do their bidding.
Unable to sneak past them I sneak up towards one slicing through its rib cage with my scimitar. The others turned towards me with a burning red light in their eye sockets, Shifting to Ryker I strick two more piercing them through their skulls. The remaining three launched themselves at me, blades drawn one bounces off my heavy armor another finds an opening but doesn't hit skin and the other slices at my face drawing blood. Letting out a roar I grab the one that drew blood grabbing its skull with one hand, using the other hand to swing my trident pulsing with blue light at the other two and iridescent wave springs froth from my trident pushing them back. With a sickening crunch I break the skull of the skeleton I grabbed, turning to look at the remaining two I rush forward. Striking one I channel my magic through it with a thunderous boom it shatters the shrapnel taking out the last remaining one.
I turn to open the door, quickly casting a minor healing spell over my injury, the smell of decay and burt bodies hits my nose. Before me is the oasis the blood red liquid pours forth from a magic circle hanging in the air above the spring turning its clear water a murkey red, rising from the red liquid are more skeletons. Two other figures in the room a jet black wolf and a grey huskey both were wearing identical blue robes. The wolf hovered above the magic circle eyes glowing red, chant a magic spell. The huskey was firing bolts of fire from a staff at the skeletons dropping them as soon as they rise.
