It was 7:45 am on a Saturday morning, may didn't know where she was going?, all she knew was she needed to get out of the den and away from the pack, so she could clear her mind and process what was happening, she thought to herself ", what's going on with me?, the pack, the den? I've never used words like that?", then, she felt a strange sensation, and she looked in the rearview mirror and saw something that caused her to veer off the road, she saw a shewolf staring at her, only it wasn't some strange creature, it was her!!!!, she took a second look, and a voice said in her head "don't be afraid this is you"....By now she'd parked on the side of the road, what had seemed like a weird daydream was reality, just then a police car appeared behind her, and a female officer who looked like she could be a wrestler or body,builder walked up to her drive side door, she instructed may to role down her window, may roled down her window and she smelled a strange scent, she said "hello officer, you have an interesting perfume on, what is it", the officer said "perfume?", oh that's my werewolf scent, if you can smell that, you must be a shewolf, and judging by what I've witnessed this morning on patrol, you're not the only woman to have been transformed by the eclipse last night, am i right pup?". May responded"yes, I thought I was losing my mind, I'm not, this is actually real?", yes said officer "Veronica wolf" I'm a shewolf, transformed last night when my partner scratched me after he turned, and that's the story many other women are telling this morning, it's all over the news, millions were turned into lycan s last night, you're certainly not alone".... May responded, I hadn't heard anything about that, I got up at sunrise and felt the desire to go for a ride, and as I was driving, I turned into a werewolf, I had to pull over out of shock!!!!!". Officer wolf smiled, "yeah you're about the 50th woman I've stopped who gave me the same story, you just did, apparently cryptozoologists say that newly turned wolves sometimes yoyo between human and lycan form because you're body is adapting to the biological change, and this can last until the next full moon, which is tonight, or you learn to control your change, so you're going to be fine, I have to go dispatch just alerted me that a situation similar to yours is taking place a few miles away, ru ok?". May continued to a McDonald's drive thru a half a mile away, she was starving, she pulled through the drive thru, there were 10 cars, each one had shewolves, who as she passed them, nodded and gave her sympathetic knowing looks, one lady in a black Dodge pickup truck rolled down her window and said "you too huh?, it's not enough we have PMS, now we're shewolves" she laughed and waved "hang in there girl"....May waved with a smile on her face.. May made it to the front of the line and said"ten rare double cheeseburgers and a large coffee please", the voice an older woman said "another one of ya huh?, we're getting a lot of shewolves, alright $23.00 at the window, pull around please".. May pulled ahead, to window, the attendant said $23.00 please", May said not to be rude, but, why aren't you a werewolf?", the woman "Rachel" as her name tag read, said, not everyone got the lycanthropy, it's like the the flu or COVID, not everyone gets sick, by the way you're gorgeous, my name is as my tag says is Rachel, I have many friends who are lycans, you seem nice, here's my number, and like the song goes "call me maybe"... May pulled out of the parking lot and kept driving, she devoured the food, and drink...She pulled into a nearby Target store lot, she walked in the store, it reaked of dog inside, and for good reason, the store had twenty or 30 other shewolves like her inside, all looking for new clothes, since they no longer fit into their old clothes, they all glanced as she passed them, all giving sympathetic knowing glances, one women a plus sized busty short haired red who looked like she could be a model, said, hey girl, I'm rita, I see you're a fellow newbie as well huh?, it's not so bad, it gives us another excuse to shop, and it's like we got free plastic surgery", she chuckled, May responded yeah it's kinda liberating, I feel like a she hulk, my name's May Harris, you seem like fun, here's my number, we'll have to have a girl's night, and howl at the moon as they", Rita laughed, "thanks, yeah you seem fun as well, here's my cell number"....May paid for her new wardrobe and headed back to her van, she put the clothes in the back, and started the van, it was now 12pm, she drove back to the den, on her way she got a call from her husband James, "hello James, I'm just headed home to the den and the pack, what's up?, "sweety I'm sorry, my wolf got the better of me before, I love you, and will treat you like my queen and my equal, do forgive me?"....
