You were on the move, running as fast as your legs could carry you as the dark-coated unicorn stallion chased you. Trees and bushes whizzed by, and you had to stop yourself from looking back towards him to keep yourself from running into any. This forest was a labyrinth of trees, and while the stallion may know it, you certainly don't!
But, as you continued galloping, you saw a swamp. You might be able to hide your scent there if you can get far enough ahead of him! Maybe hide too if you can dirty up your coat. Your white fur made you very easy to see.
Looking around, you saw a beehive ahead. Perfect.
Just as the stallion was getting close to you, his horn lighting up again, you kicked the base of the tree with the beehive, and bolted. As expected, it feel on the stallion just behind you and the bees swarmed him, making him stop chasing you for a moment as he dealt with that. You whinnied in amusement as you made your way into the swamp.
Wasting no time, you rolled around in the brown bog, completed covering yourself from mane to tail in mud, and laid down, only keeping your head about the slush. You waited, for however long it would take.
Then, just as you thought he had lost you, you saw him at the edge of the swamp. He looked around, confused, then lit his horn again. The glow emanated around his horn, then surrounded you, making you a bright beacon in the marsh. Oh come on!
You went to try to get up and escape, but the downside of this plan was that it was difficult to move in this muck. The stallion looked at you curiously, making a small whinny sound and began to pull you to the shore. You scrambled to escape and try to buck him again, but he wouldn't be fooled twice. He kept you in place, holding your entire body with his magic.
Then, he let go and his horn lit up with a different color, making you hear a male's voice in your head. "You're a very strange mare, you know. You send me the signals you're ready to mate...then attack me. And then continue to beckon me to you to bees and a swamp? I'm tempted to just look for another."
You stare, wide eyed. He can talk??
He stared at you, as if expecting a response, to which you only neighed. "Is your magic not working? Here, let me help you for now."
His horn lit green and the aura was sent down your throat and to your vocal chords. You feel that you can speak again, at least while he's holding this spell.
