Max quickly hurried to the chair and spun to face the computer. Jess stood beside him and Ash approached to lean over his siblings so they could all see the screen.
"What you guys did was cool and all, but I'd like to REALLY change myself 'til Mom and Dad get back! You said there were animal options?" Max had clicked to 'enter a new user' and the program must have scanned the room or something because his stats appeared on the screen along with his name, just below JESS and ASH. Funny how the system had updated the siblings to their new personas... but then again, it was some sort of computer magic, wasn't it?
Jess pointed to a tab "That's the animal category over there. Are you thinking of giving yourself a tail or claws or something, or going full animal?"
"Oh full creature all the way!" Max said, scrolling down through the different animal families. "What if I became the family pet for the weekend? I've always wished we could have a dog, but Dad says we can't because of his allergies. I wouldn't want to leave any fur behind after I change back, but maybe there's a hyper, hypo..."
"Hypoallergenic breed? You wanna turn yourself into a Shih-tzu or poodle or something?" Jess thought it would be awesome to have a cute little dog for the weekend.
Ash's deep voice chimed in "I saw there's a bunch of terrier breeds that are better for people with allergies when I researched it last year. Dad said he still didn't want to risk it though, so I stopped pushing. Have you ever seen a picture of a Wheaten or a Westie? I think Schnauzers are hypoallergenic too, and the come in all different sizes."
The siblings quickly googled hypoallergenic breeds on Jess's phone, coming up with a much larger list than they'd expected.
Tapping a finger against his lips, Max scrolled through the different dog breeds in the canine section "I dunno... I think I'll be a..."
