A fully clothed human teenage boy around your age stood at the entrance. Luke reaches to cup his balls but the teen sidesteps him.
“Er… sorry.” He says as he leaves Luke alone and confused. Cocking his head slightly, confused at the boy’s hesitation, Luke wonders why he didn’t just accept his normal greeting.
“Dads! I know you’re in here.” The teen shouts before making his way to the dining room.
“Hi Steve. You’re just in time for dinner with our new neighbors.” Jack says as he waves a hand at the scene in front of him: A naked ketsune family all eagerly waiting for dinner.
What they were all about to feast on was still to be decided.
“Dads, you said you wouldn’t do this anymore. Remember? We moved so I could have a normal human experience.” Steve told them.
“But Steve! We already had to move to this remote town to be as far from the city as possible.” Jack complained.
“Besides sport, they’re our only neighbors for miles. Can’t we have fun with them?” Michael pleaded.
Luke walks back to join your family as you and your family look at the entire conversation in confusion. What’s going on? And more importantly… when would you be getting to dinner?
“Dads turn them back and let’s go.” Steve firmly told them.
“But look at how happy they are to have awaken their inner animal!” Michael reasoned.
“Doesn’t matter!” Steve shouted annoyed,
“Change. Them. Back.”
“Can’t we have dinner with them at least?” Jack asked.
“Only if you both turn back to your human form after turning them back to normal.” Steve responded.
The two dragon men looked at one another and grinned.
“AND… come fully clothed.” Steve finished.
Sighing, the two dragon men looked at each other in disappointment.
“Fine.” Michael said as he and Jack followed Steve out the front door. As the three of them left, your family began to return to normal.
Your clothes return as your animal features fade leaving you back as your 16 year old clothed human self.
Likewise, your entire family has changed back. Not only to human but also to their proper gender.
“That’s odd…” you say. “What just happened?”
The entire events that had unfolded have quickly been removed from you and your family’s memory. As if it never occurred.
“I don’t remember. I just remember we were about to have dinner.” your mom said, grasping the side of her head in confusion.
Although befuddled, you all return to your seats and resume your dinner.
Suddenly, there’s a knock at the door.
"Could you answer that honey?" your mom asked with a smile, you felt like you had no choice so you stood up and walked to the door, you slowly opened it and your eyes widened at what was in front of you, there was two men, standing with a teen boy to the side of them. You could only assume they were the new neighbors. But what had 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 surprised you was the men’s choice of wearing socks with sandals.
Um...hello?" stated the man on the right. He was a tall man that had very light blonde hair that nearly resembled the color silver "Oh sorry, I spaced out for a second." you responded.
"It's okay, my husband Jack and I just came over to say hello, and also to apologize for not doing so earlier." said the man on the left. He was a large man that had red hair and a short trimmed beard. "Oh, nice to meet you, welcome to the neighborhood." you said, greeting them by shaking their hands. "Why don't you come inside? My family’s having dinner."
“We'd love to, right honey?" Jack said.
“Yes, it'd be nice to get to know each other over dinner.” The red haired man responded.
“We also brought our son Steve.” Jack said as he introduced his son.
“Hey,” Steve responded. “Nice to meet you.” He pulled his hand out and you also shook it.
Looked like he was about your age so he was probably going to be going to your high school.
“Ok now follow me to the dining room.” You say and close the front door.
You lead the three of them to the dining room where your family was continuing to eat their dinner.
“Mom, I’d like to introduce our new neighbors.” You announce as you enter.
“Hello. My name’s Michael.” The red haired man said.
“My name’s Jack.” The blonde man said.
“And my name’s Steve.” The boy said.
“We came to introduce ourselves and your son invited us in.” Michael said.
Your sisters stared at your new neighbors while your Mom politely stood up and raised her hand.
“Welcome, welcome, it's very nice to meet you,” your Mom said, “I'm Whitney, and these are my children, Lucy, Zoe, and Grace, and you've already meet Jay."
They all shook her hand.
“I’m glad my son invited you in. We’ve been looking forward to meeting our new neighbors.” your Mom said happily as she began to set the table for three more.
“Yes we had also been looking forward to meeting you. Unfortunately this isn’t what we had in mind.” Jack said.
Steve let out a cough and glared at his dad.
“I mean… we had been hoping to treat you all to dinner instead.” Jack corrected himself.
“Don’t worry about that. You’re the new neighbors not us. We should be inviting you in.” your Mom said as she set down three more plates with food.
As the three of them sat down, you returned to your seat.
