“Well you’re not supposed to use you powers on the innocent but you’re new, so I’ll give you some leeway.” Mercury interjected.
Lilith looked back at the other magical girl and released the two from her power. This was not how she expected her day to go, now she was some girly magical guardian.
Mercury sighed in relief and looked towards Misery who now approached the group.
“So I’m assuming you’ll need Pluto to come with you back to her original timeline?” Misery asked.
“Not yet, she’ll have to come back to our own timeline with the rest of the Solar Guardians eventually. You won’t have to worry for her safety, we’ll be able to handle the Normal with…ugh, the power of friendship. It’s actually quite powerful.” Mercury explained.
Bong-cha and Setepenre were failing to hide their laughter at the girl’s mention of this, even the black girl seemed embarrassed to say so.
“This is so…much. Why me?” Lilith said, still nervously tugging at her short skirt.
“Don’t worry Lilith, you can transform back by saying power down—“ before she finished her sentence the black haired girl said the magic words and had returned to her regular dark clothes, only with the addition of two silver bracelets with Pluto symbols on them.
“So if Miranda is the leader then why did you come here and explain everything instead of her?” Lilith asked.
“Well she might be the Guardian’s leader but I was chosen first by Pokoyo!” The pigtailed girl announced.
Then a small cat like creature appeared, it had pink fur and cute big eyes, it had three tails and a swirl pattern in its forehead.
“Kyu! That’s right Mercury, Kyu!” It said in a cute voice.
“I am Pokoyo! I act as the Pretty Guardians’ guide and sort of supervisor, Kyu!” It continued.
“This little guy appeared when I found my card and explained all of this to me. He’s also the one who opened this portal.” She added.
“Wait, how come you didn’t come with me to meet the others?”
“Ohh…I got sleepy kyu!” He replied expecting everyone to swoon at his cuteness.
Pokoyo’s cute and harmless demeanor couldn’t fool Misery, the creature’s vast and vaguely dark magic was only detectable by the keenest of senses, he was definitely more powerful than he let on.
“This cutesy shit is going to make me barf.” Lilith said under her breath.
“I thought Pluto wasn’t a planet, neither is the sun?” Ann asked.
“You’re technically correct but the Solar Guardians claim the mantle of many celestial bodies in the solar system, Kyu.” Pokoyo answered.
“So there are nine of us, not eight?” Lilith asked.
“Hmmm? Oh I’m not very good with numbers, maybe there’s more than nine, I don’t know Kyu!” The pink creature replied pausing for everyone to tell him how cute he was.
“Well, if you don’t have any more questions me and Pokoyo are gonna portal back to our timeline, we’ll come back to get you later. —Just make sure you stay true to the beauty and grace of a Solar Guardian!” The black girl said.
She blushed at that last part and departed back to her timeline.
“Beauty and Grace? I don’t think I can do that, but I’ll definitely kick evil ass!” Lilith declared.
“Well that was certainly exciting, why don’t you all explore the carnival, I’m sure you’ll have no trouble finding something interesting here.” The auburn haired woman said.
