“I’ll be a Seal” Rachel stated to Gloria. “Alright then. This way please” Gloria accepted as she led Rachel to this room beyond the first area where Rachel and Gloria had been talking and going over the options.
But as opposed to some lab what Rachel had been led it was seemingly a very unpleased at first glance room with dozens of Seal Hides hanging around along the walls “What…Exactly is this?” she demanded. “It all honestly Miss Sinclair the process to becoming a seal here takes a few quos from Selkies from Celtic legends” Gloria admitted.
“As in…to become a seal I’ll need to put on…one of these skins?” Rachel guessed. “Indeed so. Once fully suited up and soaked you’ll be transformed and after drying off correctly the skin will become a suit again which can be removed” Gloria explained “Also the skin is only counted as yours while transformed so no need to worry about any idiots stealing it and bounding you to marriage” then puts on a stern face “That said please always remember rules 3 and 5”. “That if I fall pregnant I cannot be reverted until after giving birth and that children cannot ever become human” Rachel recalled. “Indeed but for reference the drying out reverting process here won’t happen in that case while if your already pregnant you won’t transform at all” Gloria assured “Special safety and legal detail to help avoid mishaps or attempts and hiding certain dirty secrets in select cultures”. “Fair enough” Rachel accepted.
After collecting a Spotted Seal skin-suit Rachel was instructed to strip naked, figures really considering what she knew about ho Selkies worked. While large though the suit was actually rather tight as she moved to stuff her legs into the lower tail part and after that her arms into the points leading to the front flippers which led to a slight struggle for Rachel to pull the Seal head over her own but thankfully she managed and was currently able to see through the eyes of the suit if somewhat obscured.
“All suited up then?” Gloria asked as Rachel lay on her stomach within the suit in the middle of the room. “Best as I Can be I guess” Rachel admitted. “OK now this might be a bit shocking” Gloria announced as she tabbed away a bit on a nearby console to her from nearby the door that suddenly coursed a suddenly downpour of water to hit Rachel…
…and as a result the shift Rachel had been told about happened as the obscuring faded while Rachel from within the skin-suit merged with it as the seams sealed and faded and everything human besides her mind and memories within the seal was replaced by seal bones, muscles and blubber. “WHAT THE FUNK WAS THAT FOR?” Rachel demanded. “Invoke the transformation before sending you out on the truck that brings guests to and from the Seal section of the area” Gloria explained just as a knocking came from this other door opposite.
“Here for Guest Rachel Sinclair” this heavy snowsuit wearing guy pushing a trolley usually used for moving goods in storerooms stated after Gloria let him in. “Right here” Rachel called. “Here to help you to the truck while keeping you and the other guests damp” the man kindly stated as he walked up with the trolley “Need help getting on?”. “No thanks… I think I can manage” Rachel insisted as she pulled herself onto the trolley. “Depending on your last day I might be seeing you again if not you choose to change areas mid-stay” Gloria then stated as Rachel was rolled out of the building to the pickup truck with the flooded back waiting for her:
