Jeff took a step backwards, beginning to feel the first doubts enter his mind. Loki began growing taller and more menacing. Jeff was feeling more and more regretful as he took a look around and noticed; it wasnt just Loki the Demon growing larger! The world around him was growing larger! He found himself next to some random stone rabbit that was growing moss on its small body. Jeff was at eye-level with the thing!
He looked down, and noticed his clothes were replaced with grey fur, and his feet and hands turning into paws!
"Wa-wait!" Jeff squeaked out, as his ears migrated to the top of his head and grew straight out. His legs, now hind haunches, crouched down as his arms extended downward and touched the ground! His face extended out into a muzzle, while a numbness began to take over his body! Looking down, Jeff saw his arms and hands had become front legs and paws. Made of.....STONE!
"You see before you what you shall become and remain for the next thousand years or more!" The demon boomed overhead, laughing maniacally. He then produced a mirror and put it in front of Jeff's face just as he felt his upper body solidify and sort of go numb! But not completely.
"A rabbit!" Jeff thought with alarm, looking confusedly at the reflection just as his face melted into that of a perfect copy of the statue of a normal grey rabbit right next to him!
His neck then his jaw stiffened into place, just as Jeff tried to open his mouth to scream. A small squeak escaped, then he went completely silent. Permanently. His ears twitched in fright, before standing straight up. His eyes darting around wildly. Eventually, those grew into the large beady black eyes of the small mammal he had become. Then they, too, solidified into place and turned grey. Two small little stone orbs.
And there sat Jeff. Reduced to nothing but a perfectly identical copy of a stone lawn ornament of a small woodland creature! Terrified, as he was forced to stare at the reflection of him and his new identical twin, unsure of which one he was, and what he had become. Unable to move anything at all, even the slightest little millimeter! Completely and totally solidified in his new little stone prison!
He watched as green moss then began to cover his body! Exactly like the other stone rabbit! Being reduced to a rabbit, even just a stone statue of one, Jeff had surprisingly excellent hearing and vision of the world around him. Even though he couldn't move the eyes around at all, he still had a pretty wide-range, stereoscopic, full-color view the world.
