Missy couldn’t believe she was going to Miranda Desoto’s house, after everything that happened recently she didn’t know what to think about anything anymore, her whole world had changed. Hee and Vicky were always so mean to Miranda and her friends she doubled Miranda would even want to speak to her.
When she knocked on the door she was greeted by Miranda herself, the mixed girl was apparently dressed up for the holidays; she was wearing a modest blouse and sweater combo with a long skirt and dress shoes, her normally slightly curled hair was straightened and pulled into a low ponytail with a neat middle parting. When she saw Missy she moved back skittishly,
“It’s all right, I know we’ve never exactly got along but I’m not here for some stupid mean girl shit.” Missy explained and pulled back the sleeve of her pink off the shoulder sweater, revealing her Venus bracelet.
Miranda’s eyes widened and she opened the door to let the blonde in. The two went up to the black haired girl’s room and Missy explained everything that happened with Jenna at the magic shop.
“You haven’t even told Vicky?” She asked in her usual meek voice.
“Of course not! How the fuck would I begin to explain this to her or my family?!” She shouted, her outburst sending the shy girl backing away.
“S-sorry, it’s just a lot and I don’t know what to do… me and Vicky were always so mean to you and your friends, I understand if you don’t want me here.” The blonde said.
Miranda surprised the blonde by pulling her into a hug,
“It’s okay Missy, I know you’re not a bad person. It’s actually nice to be able to talk to someone about this, I mean I talked to Jenna but she won’t be back until after thanksgiving.” Miranda said braking the hug but still holding onto the other girl’s hands.
Missy blushed and Miranda quickly let go and put her head down like she did at school to let her hair cover her face but with her current proper hairstyle she was unable to which made the girl even more embarrassed.
“S-s-s-so a-are you and your f-family…uh d-doing stuff for the holidays— I m-mean of course they are I meant—mmmf….” Miranda stammered shyly.
“Uh…yea, my mother is going to take us to the Bahamas… her new boyfriend is coming too of course, I hate that prick, the last place I want to spend thanksgiving is back there. I always get hit on by douchebags. You’re lucky your family is poor and lame— shit! I’m sorry I’m such a bitch! I didn’t mean that I—“ Missy said but was taken back when Miranda covered her mouth with her hand to try to suppress a chuckle.
“—it’s okay, it’s just your so cute when you get worked up; your cheeks get all pink and you twitch you nose like a little bunny.” She giggled.
Missy blushed even more and tossed her hair back,
“N-no I don’t you dork!” She stammered,
“Y-you just did it again—“ the other girl replied.
“Mmffh—whatever. I-I’m sorry I said that, we’re probably going to be seeing each other a lot more with this guardian stuff, I just don’t want you to hate me or anything.” The blonde said.
“I could never hate you, I’d be like hating a b—“ Miranda was interrupted,
“Don’t say bunny!” Missy pouted.
After the two girls finished talking Miranda walked out with Missy and the mixed girl hugged the blonde goodbye, Missy blushed and gave a small wave as she left.
