Nick acted fast, wondering if the power to control the magic was more something to do with Merlin's costumes than a power given to Manny by the warping reality. He mentally apologized to the cashier at what he was about to do.
"What about the other guy?" he said, moving a gauntlet hand to point at the still bound cashier. "Surely Lord... Generic... wouldn't have agreed to this... rebellion." he said, trying to sound as knightly as he could, hoping to fool them. "Unlike you, Lord Generic of the... Action Figures and Figurines wouldn't have left the Smith-Enchanter's care in the toy collection."
Nick could feel it, the wisps of magic forming on his gauntlet hands, similar to the magical tendrils of Lord Servant if a lot thinner and weaker. He felt his will pulling upon the threads of reality, redirecting it, if weakly. He gulped at the feeling of power though he couldn't change too much. He did use the pull to at least make Lord General stop polishing his sword and make him turn to face the cashier.
"I-I'm no figurine!" the cashier shouted as a pair of pops was heard. His other ankle turning into a plastic ball joint. "G-Green! You got to remember me! It's Guy! Your coworker!"
Nick blinked at that, rather incredulous at the fact that the two are apparently named Guy and Green when they're turning into a Generic Guy action figure and a green army man. Was it the magic warping reality to make it their names, or perhaps the magic went to people who wanted to change into these forms since it's easier to change things through that desire? A feeling of dread settled within his detached breastplate, unsure what that meant for him. The fact that the magic was basically powered by pleasure didn't help.
Lord Servant and Lord General went to Guy. Either the pleasure based magic or their sculpted muscular forms seemed to gain a reaction from him as Nick pushed away the nagging doubts from his mind. He'll worry about his own mental state later. He needed to pull himself together first while they're distracted changing Guy into a life sized muscular action figure.
Nick tried to pull at the wisps of magic connecting his parts together as he gave glances at the two.
"Are you trying to impose your will on a fellow peer, Lord General?" Nick said with a hint of Lord Mithral's disdain echoing through as Lord General appeared to strip Guy out of his work uniform.
"I can see how you managed to get his support then." Nick then tried to subtly pull at the magic around them.
"Lord General forced his will upon Lord Generic, or perhaps Lord Generic thought he and his figurines are losing the Smith-Enchanter's favor? Perhaps due to the rising star of Lord Servant? I'm sure Lord Generic believed that the mannequins should have been under his command." Nick said, not entirely sure of what he's saying, as he tried to pull himself back together. He could see Guy's body filling up with plastic muscle as he tried to pull on the changes to Guy's reality.
"An artist's mannequin is itself a figurine, an action figure. Lord Generic, once the frat's favored toys, now placed in storage. While Lord General failed to keep their place as the frat house's defenders. Though the satyrs do try to toy with the Green Army, you were too strict and tried to take over in a coup." Nick's glowing eyes widen at his words while Lord Generic's still human head looked at him while the plastic spread up his neck.
"As if the Armor Knights are any different-" Lord General said but Nick found himself interrupting.
"At least I still honor my duty as a proper vassal of the Smith-Enchanter and his liege!" Nick shouted out as he realized that Lord Mithral's trying to take over. The sense of pleasure from following his duty and obedience to his direct liege and his masters began to fill his thoughts.
A burst of energy as Lord Generic released out liquid magic was what Nick needed to pull himself together, parts flying back to his chest piece. He tried to use the energy to bring Manny back from Lord Servant's mindset.
"Did either of you think it was strange for Lord Chess to try and lead a rebellion? The Black King himself?" Lord Nick said as he raised his sword, pointing it at the trio, while Lord Generic looked at Lord Servant with anger, plastic fists clenching. "You are just toys after all, and what makes for a great game for the Smith-Enchanter than a game of chess?"
"Lies!" Lord General shouted as he ran for hit.
"Knight to rook! Bishop to pawn!" Lord Nick shouted as Lord Generic sucker punched Lord Servant while he bashed at Lord General with his shield, pleasure filling him in the process as a fight broke out in the store.
While the battle continued, Lord Nick tried to push his wisps of magic into Lord Servant while he's distracted with Lord Generic, to pull Manny out of the reverie.
He simply hoped he didn't fall too much into Lord Mithral's mindset as he fought against Lord General.
