Walking to the cafeteria, Ali adjusted his shirt slightly, not used to feeling nipples so sensitive. Entering the room, he was immediately greeted by Coach Williams.
"Hey! Have a good rest?" the man asked, his furry ears twitched slightly, both poking through specially fashioned holes in his sports cap, holes that weren't there previously.
Ali blinked slightly. Not only was coach sporting those strange ears but strangely, his face seemed almost...younger. The wrinkles had softened and the grey in his salt and pepper hair had seemingly been erased, the once white strands having darked to the same brown of his ear fur.
"Uh, yea...slept good, Coach." He searched the buffet line and frowned; there was no sausage or ham for breakfast, and only a little container of scrambled eggs, otherwise just cereal, fruit, and oddly, lots of lettuce. "Back to the weekend schedule, right?"
"Actually I had some ideas. The yoga classes were great for morale, a chance to do something different." Ali spotted coaches hands gently caress a long seam that seemed to press out against his shirt. The lip of a pouch, Ali thought.
"So while we're here at the resort, let's mix things up some more. I want you and Cory to make sure everybody attends and doesn't just goof off and get hit on this weekend."
"I think the ladies are all taken, Coach."
"oh?" Couch blinked slightly, as if processing an unexpected response "All the more reason to focus on being great players for the next three seasons, right?"
"You mean this season?"
"Right....Of course." Coach blinked again, dispelling a brief look of confusion " So here's today's schedule." He stood up to grab a paper notepad from his backpack. As he turned, Ali was surprised to see a thick, heavy tail hanging behind coach fly through the air and hit him in the chest.
He yelped. "Tail!"
Coach turned, grinning sheepishly. "Oh! Ha, guess I knocked you when I turned!" Ali watched as the man gathered his new appendage in his arms, restraining it briefly to avoid hitting Ali again.
Ali stammered. "Coach, you have a roo tail." Ali felt his own tail lash from behind.
"I know! Isn't it great? Really helps with my balance." Coach said, petting the brown fur. Ali couldn't help but notice that from behind, coaches pants, much like his hat, had changed to accommodate his new appendage.
"Yeah, that's... that's great. I've gotta go." Ali turned, not wanting to dwell on coaches tail much longer
the hell is going on He thought, as he ascendingly rubbed his hands over the sensitive 'bug bites' on his lower stomach.
Williams called after him, "Massages in an hour! Get people up."
*************
Back at the room, Ali found Cory awake and staring at his feet. They were huge. Grey fur covered Cory's long toes up to their big, dark claws that'd replaced his toenails. Cory gently stroked the feet, his attention fullly captured by the changes. His hands slowly traced along their pads and through their fur. On his face Ali notice a look of almost, admiration.
Strange.
"When did those happen?" Ali asked, causing Cory to jump.
"Oh! Hey Ali. Didn't see you come in" Cory adjusted himself, allowing his new feet to drop to the ground. "Shifted while I was sleeping apparently. Did you change at all? Grow bull horns or something?"
Ali blushed slightly, hand once more grazing across his lower stomach. "No, I'm fine....no changes" His mind briefly dwelled on the mention of bull horns, the phrase causing a strange flutter in his stomach.
Changing the subject he said, "Coach has a kangaroo tail."
Cory's eyes perked up with what looked like excitement, before the boy shook his head and a look of frustration crossed his eyes.
"And what, he thinks it's normal?"
"Seems like it. At least we get massages out of this"
Cory stretched his paws, digits wiggling slightly. "Well, I sure could use one. Can't say I'm opposed to having one of those ladies work my body" He smirked "Help get the mind of my new....assets"
"Shall we ?" Ali replied as Cory stood and they departed.
