"I'd fancy morphing into a fish!" Manny said.
"A fish?" Margaret and Andrew said at once.
"Yup." Manny said. "A fish. I've always fancied being an animal that breathes and lives in water."
"AND," HE ADDED, "I can make my fish form be able to survive in both freshwater and saltwater!"
He always loved swimming and relaxing in the water. He always wondered what it would be like to stay in water all the time. He always hated having to leave the beach or the lakeside to go back to work after his vacations, even though he loved his job.
"But what kind of fish should I even try to be?" he wondered.
On one hand, it would be nice to be a goldfish in a pond or tank, because he could be a pet and people would take care of him while he lived the lazy lifestyle of a fish. On the other hand, it could get boring because he wouldn't have any freedom. Another option could be living in a lake or river, but would people try to catch and eat him? He could try living in the ocean as a much larger fish, but then, would he eaten by a shark. A possible solution to that problem would be to become a shark.
the otheR complication was water. The dolphin had lungs, but the others didn't. and he didn't want to have an instant tf; that mean he'd flop about on the ground, suffocating due to lack of air. Then, there was the size of water needed for the fish to breathe. Running his bath deep could work for the smaller options, but the bigger ones would need more space, like the ocean.
Manny thought maybe he could plan a family day at the beach so he could turn into a fish.
"TFing into a fish will be simple." Manny added, removing his shoes and socks. "All i gotta do is dip my toes into water!" he wriggled his toes.
"Amazing, DAD!" Andrew said.
"Alright," said Margaret, "let's not get ahead of ourselves." She looked at her husband. "Now, honey, what fish are you gonna turn into?"
