"Lisa, it's time to get up." Her Mom's soft voice woke Lisa up from her slumber.
The girl took a moment to remember that her Mom had woken her up until she was ten. She mentally made a note to ask for an alarm clock soon. She wasn't too young to need her Mom to wake her up every morning.
"I've got your uniform ready to go." Lisa when fully awake looked at the school uniform that she knew she hadn't worn the first time she had been eight. She had gone to public school without a uniform, not to a private school. All she could figure was it was the difference for her Mom and Dad having her eight years later.
In about fifteen minutes, she washed up and got dressed in the girl's uniform for what she recognized as from a local private school. Lisa wasn't certain why this had happened. She had expected to go to public school like the first time and get to a computer there. But now, she wasn't certain she would be able to do so.
Lisa fortunately found her school schedule and where she was supposed to go. At least she won't be completely lost going there. She checked to make certain the Regression Stopwatch was off and hid it again before going downstairs.
Downstairs she found herself eating a bowl of cereal she sort-of remembered as being popular for the last year for children. She had tried a little bit a few months ago when she was sixteen and found the sugary cereal to be far too sweet and colorful. Now the cereal tasted really good to her and Lisa had to pace herself.
After breakfast, Lisa checked her pink backpack for everything she thought she would need for school. Her mom led her out to the car and into the backseat where her booster seat awaited.
