April came in the backroom and saw to her amusement the beauty salon was now painted and walppaered in bright, vibrant colors, circus calliope music was playing in the background, the portraits of glamourous looking women now showed female clowns of various types, who somehow radiated beauty and sensuality along with silliness.
And out of the backroom, came the three beauticians, now all done up as clowns.
The boss lady Sophia was done up as a classic whiteface clown. Her entire complexion was a creamy white, white simple black arches for eyebrows,
black outlined eyes, thick black eyelashes, a dainty red clown smile, and pink blush on her cheeks. At the center of her face was red clown nose, nearly the size of a golf ball, and covered with red glitter. Her hair was now pink and just past her shoulders.
The other two beauticians were now auguste clowns. One, formerly a sassy African-American woman named Marie, now had a ruddy orange complexion with white patterns above her eyes and a white muzzle with a black smile inside, and her hair done up in bushy green ponytails. The other, formerly a shy blue eyed blonde named Sandra, had a pink complexion with similar eye patterns and muzzle, only her clown smile was red, and her ponytails were neon yellow. Both had red clown noses, about the size of tennis balls.
All three were dressed in similar outfits-baggy blouses, knew length apron dresses with the skirts fluffed up by petticoats, bloomers, and striped or polka dot sock and bubble-toed Mary-Janes on their feet.
From the backroom, April could barely contain herself. The three all looked so hilarious!
