Roy could feel his identity slipping away from him. He had lost his life, he had lost his body, and unless he could get it he'd lose his only way back. He had to act, and he had act now
Roy lunged at Sarah, desperate for the remote, but Sarah was able to fend off the initial grab. Roy was taken aback. Right now they both looked like Sarah to him, but it seems like with his life, she got his strength too. This only gave him cause for more desperation, though, and with that desperation came strengthening adrenaline
This was it, if Roy couldn't get that remote back then there was no telling the retaliation Sarah would deal out to him. He had no plan on what to do if he got it. He had no time to plan that. He just knew he needed it.
He also knew he had to be at least a little smart, though. If the remote went off, or even worse, if the remote got damaged there was no telling what could happen, no telling what he could be become
