"Hey, everyone, it's Harvey Mainz and my girlfriend, Kendra Tykes."
"Today, we're giving you guys a glimpse of the various families coming together for Thanksgiving," said Kendra.
"And one family that's grown a lot in the last year is the Hill family," said Harvey. The camera turned to show Andrew and Jeff, the two lions who had formed a coalition. Andrew had both Kinjara and Ruby while Jeff had Zoe and Lena. There were also a few members from Ruby's family, the ones who had less of an issue of the great-grandmother of their family becoming an amazonian lioness. There were also Lena's parents and Zoe's parents.
"So, you've got quite a gathering this year," said Kendra.
"Just because one of my grandsons thinks he should have most of the inheritance doesn't mean that I would cut out the others," said Ruby.
"And I'm thankful our pride is getting bigger, in more ways than one," said Kinjara, rubbing her rounder belly.
"Oh, congratulations," said Kendra, "Is Ruby expecting too?" There was a bit of choking from one side of the table as members of Ruby's family had a few mouthfuls almost go down the wrong pipe.
"I think I can wait a little longer," said Ruby, "They have accepted my new life, but they're still adjusting."
"Anything you're thankful over here?" asked Andrew to Jeff, Zoe, and Lena.
"Well, I'm thankful I was able to make peace with my parents again," said Zoe.
"There are a few things more important than opinions on public health," said her mom.
"Mom, we agreed not to discuss that kind of thing at dinner," said Zoe.
"And you're ok with Lena being part of this pride?" asked Harvey to Lena's parents.
"I'll admit, it took a bit of time to wrap our heads around this," said Lena's father, "But Lena's found a good family to be a part of."
"I do wish they'd have a more private wedding," said Lena's mother, "I wouldn't think Lena would have to share her wedding with another bride."
"Well, at least Animalia has the legal authority to perform a double-wedding like that," said Kendra.
"Well, it's going to be more than just us," said Jeff.
"Tell us more," said Harvey.
"Well, this coming summer will be Animalia's 8th anniversary," said Jeff.
"So?" asked Harvey.
"Well, there are many bond-mates who will have finished both high school and college by then," said Zoe.
"Including the original cast of Animalia Ambassadoria," noted Kendra.
"Right, and rather than bog up most of June and July with wedding weekends, Mayor Clara will be performing one big mass wedding event," said Zoe.
"Well, it would certainly allow everyone to remember when their anniversary is," said Harvey.
"And now, let's check in one of those couples," said Kendra.

"Thanks, Kendra," said Sophie, "Roland and me are at Mesazoic Enclave for a rather special twist on a Thanksgiving tradition."
"Since Kennedy, it has become tradition for the president to spare one or two turkeys every Thanksgiving from being eaten. Various governors from different states have followed that tradition at different times. Jack and Pocahontas were two such turkeys were afterwards uplifted. And this year we'll be a little different," said Roland.
"This year, the governor of Colorado has pardoned turkeys for the first time. Maple, Pumpkin, Matilda, and Gus will be brought here so they can go through reverse-evolution to become Dinotopians," said Sophie.
"As of right now, we're not sure what sort of dinosaurs they'll be becoming, except that they'll be in the Dromaeosaur family," said Roland.
"In any case, nobody will be eating them now," said Sophie, "They'll be doing the hunting from now on."
"Except for wild turkey," said Roland.
"We will bring you more news after they've finished their uplifting," said Sophie.
