Madame Illusia actually felt good about herself. After all, she had made the two lovers happy again. True, in other shapes and through swapping their own genders, but all of it was willing and they were happy enough as they were. No risks to end yup as chops or steaks and they would create a great line of amazing horses, making a deserving and hard-working farmer rich and famous. Damon and Monica did not have to worry about such trivial worries typical of humanity, like money, rent, bills, taxes, health and gathering groceries. All this would be supplied for them, so they could indulge in simpler pleasures, so more wholesome, like enjoying the fresh country air, gorge on healthy grass and hay and frolicking about in each other's company. So yes, Madame Illusia felt happy with her spells and she always felt that way in these circumstances, as the world could use a horse couple much more than a human one.
"Madame?..." a small timid voice said behind her.
There was a small teen, perhaps 13 or 14. She had big thick glasses and was clearly chubby.
"I am sorry. The show is over," Madame Illusia said simply.
"I know, ma'am. But I know of your great powers. I wondered if you could help me. I can pay you."
"Never mind the money now. What do you want?" asked the performer, although she knew where this was going thanks to her long experience in human desires.
"I want to be gorgeous and admired by all."
"Don't we all?" snickered Madame Illusia.
"Please, make me beautiful! I'll give you all I have for that!"
"Child," sighed Madame Illusia. "You're fine as you are. Perhaps not as pretty as other for now, but it'll change. Your body will grow into your adult form. You'll put contact lenses and see a nutritionist. Your teenage grow spurt won't last forever. And you are not disfigured or mutilated. So don't worry about that. Besides, being beautiful won't solve all of your problems. It's got its disadvantages too, you know, and quite a few."
"Yes, certainly, but it would solve most of my problems! I get bullied at school and my parents won't listen or believe me! You're my only and last hope!"
Madame Illusia sensed the truth in her words and she knew enough about bullies that it couldn't be easy for the girl. Obviously she wasn't there just for vanity.
"How much you got?" she said as a way of appearing business-like.
She didn't need the money but let the girl believe she had agreed to this out of her own free will.
The girl took out a little more than sixty dollars and Madame Illusia said she'd do the spell to make her very beautiful. Such a common spell... And so easy to twist around. The girl would still learn the hard way that beauty comes with disadvantages and problems too.
"You want to be beautiful. So be it. But don't complain too much afterwards," she sighed, blasting the spell at the teenager.
