Queen Besha was momentarily surprised at this sudden surrender, and all for some silly armor. Then, she remembered that these were young, inexperienced dragons living like animals on this island, not the formidable enemies her predecessors had fought in years past.
She watched Skyslining parading around in her new wyvern saddle armor, unaware of how ill-fitting it looked. The armor was designed for the slender, serpentine forms of wyverns, not for bulky dragons. Skyslining's companions were equally oblivious, demanding their own armor, too.
Besha sighed to herself. Perhaps this had been a mistake. Still, she needed subjects fast. Her sister already had a hu man kingdom under her rule and no doubt would be mustering her own wyvern forces, and while she felt sure the other queen would keep to herself, she in no way wanted to be surpassed. Eyeing the dragons once more, she tried to think of an idea.
