One day after school Daniel discovered a box at his front door, inside the box was a note and a magical knife. The note listed that the knife allowed anyone to be able to detach a body part of their choosing. The body part can reattach or be put on someone or something else just by placing the cut spot directly to someone or something. Daniel doubted the note thinking there was no way it worked. But he figured he could give it a shot. So he quickly put the box in his book bag and went upstairs to his room before anyone could see him.
As he entered his room, Daniel pulled back open the box. He looked at the knife nervous and yet excited. He thought of which part of his body should he try first.
"Hmmm..."
He thought about it for a moment and figured his finger would be the least harmless part. So he picked up the knife and carefully cut through his finger. Amazed he picked up his finger and it was like it's never been attached to him. On both cut ends was smooth skin.
He tried to wiggle his finger but nothing happened, he could still feel the sensation of it but couldn't control it. That's when he tried a test. Daniel wondered if he could feel his finger from far away.
Daniel poured a glass of water and dropped his finger into it. Curious, he left his bedroom. As he got about 10 feet away, he noticed the wet sensation was gone. He could no longer feel his finger anymore. As he walked closer to his room, the feeling came back to him.
Daniel pulled his finger out of the glass and reattached it to his hand. He looked back at the knife and a mischievous grin came across his face. He thought to himself...Who should he use it on first...
