"Hello, everyone, and welcome to a new episode of Animalia Ambassadoria." said Miles, sitting on the couch this time. "Today, we'll be learning more about some of Animalia's winter 'traditions', meeting some new characters, catching up with some 'old' friends, and meet some new, declassified friends.
---
The first thing Miles went over was the Great Snow War, and some key differences from WWI, and the trench warfare that inspired it. One really surprising one was the treaty that ended the Great Snow War was different from the one signed at Versailles in one key difference: many of the "points" were made so that the victorious Allies could punish Germany, thus sending it into such dire straits that Adolf Hitler could come to power.

Miles' interview of new characters featured several retired show dogs, all of which were female, who had come to Animalia for rebirth, so to speak. They included: A Chinese Crested dog who, semi-unexpectedly, wore just enough to cover up the naughty bits while also showing off her well-developed musculature; a female Poodle who was a bit more of a tomboy and into physical activity (and trimmed her fur extra short to show it); a Golden Retriever working to break they stereotype that golden retrievers were the "blonde bimbos" of the furry fandom; A pharaoh hound with pure black fur that made her resemble the most common "modern" depictions of Anubis; a basenji working to draw attention to her breed while also dispelling the myth that a basenji was a basset hound mix; a dachshund (aka a doxie) working hard to break the stereotype that her breed is nothing more than a "wiener dog"; and an afghan hound whose new, luxurious fur caught the attention of several shampoo manufacturers. Most of the interview went normally, with only a few surprises here and there.
"Despite what my breed's name and appearance might suggest," said the pharaoh hound, her Maltese accent being the first surprise, "our ancestry actually doesn't trace back to ancient Egypt. It actually traces back to rural Malta, and only lasted for two hundred years."
"I'll have you know," said the Dachshund, more than a little righteously angry about the stereotype associated with her, "My breed was originally intended to flush out badgers and similar burrowing animals! So, once everything is set up, I'll be taking on a badger Animalian in the Octagon to prove it!!!"
"While I do have a pedigree," confirmed the Chinese Crested dog Animalian, "most of what that means went right over my head. I'm hoping that, once we begin classes at ASM, Rox will help explain that."

The other interview was with Turquesa, with Lexia translating, and the GGAC, whom were helping Turquesa with both her language lessons and her remedial classes.
"So, what are you going to be doing once Winter Break begins?" asked Miles, as the interview wound down.
"We're actually going to be heading out to Heiya Island, both to meet some of our fans there, and help out with the development of Ryouiki Island." Said Peter.
"There are so many archaological discoveries dating back to the Genpei War being found there that Samurai Policeman from Heiya Island are being assigned there to prevent looting." confirmed Mara, before starting a clip of several Japanese archaeologists applauding the safe recovery of an old Japanese lumber saw there.
---
One final interview was a Zoom call with Aiko Kitsune, who had, by now, had made herself quite at home and was already overhauling Heiya Island's adult entertainment while, to the surprise of many, leaving the Animalian Geisha School completely untouched. While both Miles and Aiko ignored the more... inappropriate... questions, there was a surprising revelation, showing that there's just no limit to how creative an engineer (or engineering student, in this case) can get, especially when bored during a pandemic.
One Japanese engineering student had created a new kind of hydraulic cable that could be controlled with wires to make it move on its own, almost supernaturally so. After the pandemic was over, he presented his prototype to his teachers and had gotten a C+, since some female students were visibly disturbed (or in some cases, aroused) by what he could make it do. But it was the internet backlash that caused the student to shelve it for the time being. Fortunately, Aiko managed to get him a patent for it so that she could finally get the tentacle * donk sound effect * that some people were demanding on the website.

Miles' 'old friends' interview was with Anastasia Romanov, who was the unofficial head of the developing "Russian district". Fortunately, the BARA House were helping out with building many of the houses and apartment complexes, but the most ambitious project was a, much, smaller version of the Peterhof Palace for Anastasia (because, let's be honest, who needs a palace that large in this day and age).

Finally, for the declassified report, two largely muscled wolf Animalians, one clearly female, converted (as her long, black hair showed) and pregnant, while the male was a good deal larger than other wolf Animalians, entered, showing off both their muscles and their gold medals in the 2023 IAC Couples Bodybuilding Competition.
Annie, as she introduced herself, was in the same clique as Tiffany during the outbreak. However, she'd been walking in the woods when she met Nightrunner (her nickname for him). He had just drunk from the contaminated river and had pounced her during his shift. Annie also confirmed that, while it had initially been without consent, she became more and more willing as both she and Nightrunner double dosed each other.
Fortunately for Annie, that first time didn't end up with her with pups, since Nightrunner said that he could smell she was 'ready'. Both of them graduated last year, won the IAC Bodybuilding competition this year, and celebrated their victory by finally conceiving pups afterward. So far, they were able to learn that she was carrying twins and that they were quite active. Because she was now in her final month, everyone was predicting that she would give birth on Christmas Day.
---
"And that's all we have time for today." said Miles, "See you during Winter Break when we do our special Christmas coverages. Until then, we'll be seeing you."
