It seems that another reader noticed the story popping up. Her name was Fanimal16, or Fan for short. She didn't really have much friends outside of internet, but was still happy about her life. However, the secret nobody (except some of friends on Discord) knew was that she was interested into transformations. So no wonder she stumbled upon this very site named CYOC.
At first, she was just a spectator, but once none of the stories really satisfied her, she decided to make some on her own. When Fan was looking through updates, she stumbled upon the story that seemed strange.
"Storyteller's Curse?", Fan thought. She has seen this story getting updated multiple times, but never seen the chapters themselves. When she found the first chapter, the curse seemed pretty unrealistic, just like normal person would think. But, that didn't stop her from testing it out. The preferred TF type here seemed to be Anthros, which kind of fit her own standards (though she preferred Feral TFs more, without Mental Changes of course).
It was another simple day for Mono. It wasn't very good, but it wasn't very bad, either. It was just that, a day. Since he didn't see any updates about Curse Of The Storyteller popping up (yet), he decided it would be a good idea to go outside for a walk. I mean, sitting by computer all day wasn't healthy, even for people who loved doing it. And walk in the park seemed like a perfect healthy activity to counter all that feeling similar to claustrophobia, but much weaker, in his room.
But what he didn't know that his life would change soon enough. Both for better, and for worse. While Mono was resting on the bench, he started to feel strange. The feeling was not painful, but not quite pleasing either, it was just... weird. The first thing he noticed, was that there was a bump growing above his butt. Feeling that it will rip his pants, he pulled them down little, to see that that bump was turning into a tail. A mammalian, thick tail covered in brown fur.
But that was not all. Mono's legs also grew same brown fur his tail had. And his feet started to change to digitrade configuration, as the toes started to web up. The fur started to spread to the upped body, and it reached his arms, with his hands turning into strange mix of webbed paws and human hands. The fur finally reached Mono's neck, and his head started to broaden, forming a muzzle, with his ear becoming smaller and travelling to top of his head. His nose flattened, becoming a little black triangle. And yes, he also gained whiskers.
Mono looked at himself, as he just became an anthro otter. Nobody was freaked out by the fact that there was a strange human like otter standing in the park. as if the changes were invisible, concealed by some kind of aura of normality. There was something in the most hidden part of his mind that he could change back and forth, but he was so overcome by the changes themselves that he didn't notice. In fact, it was like some kind of mind block that would eventually wear off...
Fan, after finally writing the chapter, content with the changes she made. posted the chapter on the CYOC, waiting for the next sucker to catch on the "curse".
