“All I want for Christmas is to transform into a real witch, a witch with actual magic powers, a spell book and the works.” said Samantha as she placed the transformation orb against her chest. She didn’t expect anything to happen, but instead she felt the orb begin to travel within her body only to stop about halfway into her chest. She felt power rush through her veins and everything but something didn’t feel complete.
“My God, it's actually working.” said Samantha as she saw movement coming from behind her. She turned back toward her bed only to see multiple spell books floating over the bed, slowly moving around.
Slowly she moved toward the books, making sure to close and lock the door behind her as she looked at them carefully.
There were a dozen books, all different colors with different symbols on them.
“Of course.” Said Samantha as she touched the orb which was still pumping magic into her body. “There are many types of witches, I guess I have to pick a type of witch I want to be.”
She studied the books as they floated around her.
One was pitch black with the symbol of the devil on it. It gave off a dark energy but one of great power.
Another was golden with the symbol of an Egyptian Ankh
Another was a deep green with Celtic symbols around the edges.
Yet another was a smaller book but with a deck of tarot cards on top of the book.
There was a blue book with a massive star on its cover.
As she moved her hands over the books making sure not to touch them, she seemed to get a sense of what type of magic was within each book. Somewhere more in touch with nature, fate, potions and others the divine and devil work.
She knew she could only pick one and she had to choice.
“Alright.” Said Samantha as she grabbed her book.
