As soon as Callum cries out to his friend, there is a bright flash. One that creates its own sound, at least to Brayden and Callum.
The light receeds and Brayden is no longer standing in front of his contained friend.
"Brayden?" Callum calls out.
"Trey?" Replies Brayden, "How do you know my name?"
"It's Callum."
"Where?"
"I'm Callum."
"Oh my God! You're not even yourself!"
"Tell me about it. So where are you?"
"Look to your left," Brayden sighs.
Callum turns his head to the left and sees his best friend bound and cased like himself. The only difference being he's wearing a hoodie instead of just a shirt.
"How do we get out of here?" Callum asks.
"How am I supposed to know? Hope someone notices and releases me?" Brayden replies.
"Possibly. But no one mentioned releasing me."
"True. The thought didn't even occur to me. I thought you were a statue.... Oh shit!"
"What?"
"Do you think people's minds have been messed with?"
"What? Wh..... Oh.... Fuck!"
"We may simply be statues to anyone not transformed."
"We need to free ourselves," says Callum.
"Yeah. But how?"
"Hmm...." Callum thinks for a few seconds, "Can't think of anything."
"Not like we're short on time," laughs Brayden.
"Hopefully not! Unless we start solidifying."
"Don't say that!" Brayden cries terrified.
"Sorry."
The class start to roll in again. No one pays any attention to the two encased guys at the back of the classroom.
