Hudson Hawthorne, and is 40 years old.
By the time Saturday came around, Hudson felt reassured enough to return to the zoo. They boarded the van on Saturday morning before Hudson drove the entire family to the zoo. Entering the parking lot, the family was shocked to find nearly every parking spot taken. Vehicles taking every available spot in spite of it only being eight in the morning.
“Great! It looks as if everyone in town is here!” Hudson angrily stated before being startled by Oscar.
“Look! There’s a parking spot!”
Hudson looked to see that his son was pointing at a parking space near the entrance. Surprisingly no one had taken it and Hudson wanted to keep it that way. He pressed on the accelerator and quickly parked the car.
As the family celebrated their good luck and exited the car, Hudson couldn’t help but feel odd. He was beginning to gain a strange sense of déjà vu. His wife seemed to have spotted his uncomfortable expression and pulled him to the side.
“Are you sure your up to coming inside?” Ashley asked him.
“Uh… sure! We’re already here and all,” Hudson reasoned. He didn’t want to keep his family from the zoo any longer.
“And I have to conquer this… this… feeling,” Hudson thought as they walked to the entrance. They handed their tickets to an employee at the entrance who gave them a wide smile and a map before letting them inside.
Hudson looked at the zoo in amazement. It appeared that the town wasn’t the only thing to expand in all this time. The zoo was even bigger now, containing a plethora of exhibits, some that didn’t even exist when he had previously visited. There were also new locations for visitors to visit and plenty of new activities to do.
“So what do you want to do?” Hudson asked his family as he examined the map in his hands.
