From the Files of S.P.E.A.R: The Bunker

added by Liquid O 23 days ago O Mythological

As Anna and Greg continued forward they came across a strange sight, a heavy metal bunker door. It had Russian writing and signs, Anna informed Greg that they were general labels for a bunker door but the signs warned of infectious disease and danger. They were hesitant but heard strange sounds coming from the way they came and realized they had no choice.

“Fuck it, this looks like the only way forward, those Normal soldiers had to have come this way too right?” He asked.

“No, this place has to be bigger than that, there are probably more caves and tunnels, but judging by the sounds coming from behind we don’t have time to look for an alternative.” Anna explained and used her enhanced werewolf strength to turn the submarine-like hatch door.

Once it was opened they quickly got in but seemed to hit a barrier but barely managed to pull the door shut behind them just as sounds of scratching and screaming came from the other side, they both tripped over something and pointed their flashlights into the bunker corridors ahead of them.
They both saw that the barrier was at least a dozen bodies that had been mummified by the cold, on closer inspection they saw that they all had bullets in them, like someone had fired at the men trying to escape.

“Fuck.” Was all Greg could say.

The agents looked to each other and knew they had to move forward, climbing over the dead soldiers they continued onward. The bunker looked straight out of the Soviet Union, hammers and sickles, red flags, propaganda posters. There were several side corridors but a quick glance inside with their flashlights revealed only long abandoned rooms and the occasional body.

“Did Lady Roseblood do all this?” Greg asked, finally breaking the silence.

“I don’t think so, all these men were either shot or ripped each other apart. No bite marks or Bloodless Ghouls.” Anna replied.

Occasionally they would hear the sound of creaking metal and shifting stone, the place was cold and desolate but neither one could shake the feeling they weren’t alone.
They came upon three doors, each of them sealed like the bunker entrance.
One of the doors had an emergency light on, it was dim but definitely still powered.
One had blood all over it and a mummified body still gripping the lever-wheel.
The last looked to have specs marks coming from the inside, like a fire raged on the other side.

Each of the doors were either missing their labels or the signs were too destroyed to make out any words, they would have to choose one.
