The Christmas issue of Animalia Magazine wasn't too unusual for the season, to be honest. The usual gift ideas for Animalians, newborn or otherwise, holiday recipes, list of special events and what part of Animalia they would be taking place, and arts and crafts were, relatively, the same from other Christmas editions. But that didn't mean there were a few new things.
---
Because of the rising popularity of the Asian Animalia colonies, there was an article that talked about the Dongzhi celebrations and what they entailed, since Christmas wasn't really celebrated in Asia. There was also a lot of fanboy/fangirl hype being generated about "Ninja Prep", but that wouldn't be for a little bit. There were some really interesting art and videos being posted about what the classes at Ninja Prep would be, but most of them were understandably cliche.

The only thing that was really different was in the digital edition, where a number of "winter themed" Animalian photoshoots from Animalia School of Modeling were showcased. While nothing "inappropriate" was being shown, the way they were being covered up (from using hands, to a "strategically placed" evergreen tree branch, to even a simple pile of snow) left it firmly in the Premium Section. While there were those who were upset or angry about this, more were quite impressed about how the girls (and guys, in some cases) were handling the cold, even though ASM included a disclaimer that the "winter wonderland" was actually a photo studio. However, the pictures had been so "brilliantly faked", as one person called it, that some used them as Exhibit A of the old saying "you can't believe everything you see online".
