Luckily, thanks to Joce's awesome powers, she was still able to communicate with Peter, using telepathy. Peter didn't need food nor sleep, so he didn't use any energy and he couldn't get tired! So, he started talking to her from the moment she had transformed him into a large, life-like marble statue!
"Don't worry, my love" Joce thought. "Eventually I'll get tired of being alone, and I'll change you back. In fact, I'm already starting to miss you!"
"This is weird, but awesome..." Peter replied. "I'm fine... Don't worry about me... I love you!"
"I know, you big hunk of a muscle man..." Joce laughed. "I just want to see you grow a little bit now and then, as a statue... I might do that later on. I just love to watch you change..."
Joce then turned around and went into the house, since it started to get cold and dark, and it began to rain.
About twenty minutes later, she stared out the window, and looked at the large statue.
"How about you grow a little bigger, every time you get wet?" she chuckled.
She then walked into the bedroom, and crawled in bed. She fell sound asleep.
In the meantime, large, dark clouds started moving in. The forecast had called for 2 inches of rain, and isolated thunderstorms.
While Joce was asleep, she dreamed she heard Peter's soft voice.
"Hey... I feel something... Am I growing?" Peter asked.
"Uhhhhh... It feels so good..."
But, Joce was too sleepy to wake up, while it was pouring rain outside...
