Chad recognized the road leading to the University. He had been there several times. Snake steered him down Fraternity Row. He stopped in front of an old Cape Cod style mansion with peeling paint. Brad's fraternity house, Chad realized that his brother lived there. Why did Snake drive here?
Snake beeped Chad's horn. The sudden blare in his head gave him a headache. He was not aware of anyone coming out of the fraternity house until his passenger door opened, and Brad climbed in.
"You did it. You scored the wheels just like you said you would, Snake," Brad said.
"My name is Jason," Snake said stiffly.
"Hey, my name's Brad, but everyone at the Frat calls me Mongoose," Brad said, "Did you make any of the mods I requested. I can see it still needs the custom paint job."
Snake's eyes narrowed when he heard Brad describe himself as a Mongoose. Calling Jason Snake took on a different meaning. He put his tongue between his lips.
Then he spoke, "I thought I'd take you for a test drive, and confirm the list of mods you want done. It's usually harder to reverse modifications than it is to do them. Take you custom paint job, if you change your mind about that we'd need to sand off all the paint, and apply a new undercoat before repainting."
"Got it. Test drive first. Get out of my seat, I'm driving," Brad said straddling the center console as he moved from passenger to driver's seat. Snake opened his driver side door and exited. He ran around to climb in passenger seat.
