While Damon was happy not being a frog anymore, being a horse was still strange to him. Of course he was grateful not being a little green croaking amphibian anymore, no mistake there, but a horse, if much, much better, still was not a human. But he could wait. It was already a definite improvement. Better munch on hay, carrots and apples rather than gross insects. Being a horse required some shameful things to get used to, like no hiding to defecate in the water, yet he could handle those better than all the survival skills demanded when being a frog. So he could take things in stride, so to speak. And Damon did not realize it, but he was a very handsome stallion. Extremely so, even, and certainly not gelded. But all by design, due to the witch's plans regarding Damon.
The witch had not found a counter-spell to return Damon to his original human form but she could transform him into other things. And a horse had seemed to be a very good idea. She had an old stable set and she could easily find a buyer. A horse breeder, as Damon would fetch a much higher price like that. And she could turn the former young man into a very desirable stallion that any owner would be most delighted to possess. Now this was an opportunity not to pass! So she had transformed him further while she called on her old phone a horse breeder who affirmed he could come in no time.
The man arrived while Damon was exploring around, putting his nostrils everywhere in the grass and chomping on it as he listened to his new instincts carefully. He turned his head and saw the witch with a man. He then twitched his ears at their conversation. The man exclaimed at how handsome Damon was and claimed he was one of the finest specimens he'd ever seen in his long experience. The witch smiled profusely and praised all the qualities of the stallion, from his sweet nature to promising virility. And... Wait, were they talking about a price? Was the witch intent on selling him? No! Not that! Damon started panicking and whinny like crazy, rendered mad at the fear and injustice of it all. No! He did not want to go with this breeder! No way!He wanted to be human again, that was all! The breeder frowned at Damon's display but the witch assured him that the stallion was merely wary of strangers and that with treats, he'd turn perfectly docile. The man grumbled but said that he wouldn't pass up such a beautiful stallion and that he'd tame enough angry horses in his time. This one would yield like all the others. He took out a rope and bridle. Damon knew this did not bode well for him. He stepped back, utterly panicked and afraid. What was he to do?
