As the evening wore on, Keiko was beginning to understand why Lisa was so desperate to get her hands on the Reset Watch.
Lisa's mother seemed to hover over the girls, choosing what the girls could watch, what they could eat, when to head to bed or brush their teeth. If the girls had actually been 8 years old in mind and not just body it could be understandable, perhaps a bit overprotective. Keiko and Lisa though weren't regular 8 year olds. "Wow you're mom can certainly be hands on."
"No kidding," Lisa bulked. The pair of 8 year olds now found themselves in Lisa's bedroom. Lisa's mom had told the girls it was bedtime, ushering the duo into the room. Dressed in their pj's, Lisa and Keiko now dangled their feet over the side of the bed staring at the digital clock that read 8 pm. "Now I understand why you were so desperate to get the watch," Keiko said softly. "I mean it’s a bit annoying for me and I've only been 8 years old for a day."
"Yeah now imagine being stuck like this for over a week," Lisa sighed. Hopping off the bed, Lisa now dug the Reset Watch out of her bag. "You want to know what stinks," she said. "We can only use the watch once then we gotta wait 24 hours. That means one of us is going to be stuck like this until tomorrow." Lisa sighed, handing the watch to Keiko.
"Here," Lisa said sadly. "You should go first. I shouldn't of dragged you into this. It's only fair that you get to grow up first." Keiko now took the watch, speechless as to Lisa's act. In her hands was the key to her adulthood, an opportunity to regain the years she had lost over the last few days. As much as she wanted to return to adulthood, it didn't seem fair that Lisa should be stuck like this.
"Lisa is it possible for two people to use the Reset Watch at the same time?"
"I don't know maybe," Lisa said slowly. "I mean I think we could. The instructions didn't say anything about it only being for one person. Why?"
"What if you use the watch to go back to Sixteen and I become Sixteen too," Keiko said. "If it works we might be able to do more tonight without your mom hovering over us." Lisa paused, anxiously looking at the watch before turning to Keiko. If this worked they would both be 16 years old, if it didn't though Keiko could be stuck at 8 years old until tomorrow. "Okay if you're willing to try let's do it," Lisa said.
Lisa and Keiko now both held the Reset Watch, anxiously looking at the dial. In order to make sure this worked, Keiko had used the Regression watch to make herself the same age as Lisa. Thankfully the loss of a month caused no real changes in Keiko's appearance. As Noth girls now held the watch, they reached up with their free hand hitting the button to start the dial.
"You feel anything yet," Lisa asked as they watched the months tick forward. "A little," Keiko shrugged, the girls watched as they months crept forward, slowly approaching their ninth birthday. Glancing down at their barefeet, it was hard to tell if they were growing taller.
Hitting age nine and heading for ten, the girls tried to gage if they were indeed growing taller. "I think my pj's are getting tighter," Lisa stated. "Same," Keiko said. Both girls now hopped off the bed, they couldn't be quite sure but the drop didn't seem so high. "Do you have a height chart," Keiko asked. Lisa nodded, pointing towards her closet door.
Making their way towards the height markers, Keiko now stood against the door, allowing Lisa to see if she was growing taller. After a moment Lisa gasped, watching as Keiko grew. "It's working," she gasped. "You're definitely getting taller."
Keiko spun around, smiling as she and Lisa gazed at the height markers. They girls were definitely growing older, Lisa noticing as birthday markers began to appear. Lisa recalled growing up how her parents would measure her on her birthday. Looking at the height chart she could see her 9th birthday marker, followed by her 10th, and soon an 11th appeared. "Lisa look!"
Lisa now looked to Keiko before looking over herself. Thr first signs of puberty were beginning to appear on the pair of preteens. Both girls now noticed their breasts beginning to return, their faces transitioning from childhood to teen, they bodies lengthening as they approached the waifish point of their young teenage years.
"Look at us," Keiko smiled. "We look like we're 12 years old." Lisa grinned, sighing happily as the pair crept closer to becoming teenagers once more. Both girls watched as their pj's now transitioned into something more teenage. The little girl designs becoming a plain too with sleep pants instead of pj's bottoms. Both teens now glanced down at their chests, watching them swell under their t-shirts.
Lisa watched as their heights gradually increased, the curves returning as they crept closer to 16. Both teens watched as their limbs began to regain curves, their breasts increasing in size, as their faces matured. As Lisa now jot her original age once more, she hit the stop button. Looking in the mirror she breathed a sigh of relief as she gazed at a face she hadn't seen in weeks.
"So how do I look?"
Lisa turned to Keiko, taking in the pretty Japanese American teen in front of her. Keiko Daniels was now a very pretty teenage girl of 16. Keiko was a bit shorter than Lisa, possessing a thin waist with B cup breasts and ebony hair deacending past her shoulders. "You were cute as a teen Keiko," Lisa smiled.
Keiko smiled, thanking the girl as the pair now studied themselves in the floor length mirror. They were 16 again and despite being dressed in their pj's they had quite a but more freedom than only a moment before. The only question was what to do with it.
