You got home and quickly entered the bathroom. You looked in the mirror. Other than your hair their weren't many differences, the rest of your body remained relatively hairless and you seemed to be about the same height.
However, you did notice your body had become leaner and somewhat more muscular, though it didn't show well. Looking closely, you noticed the symbol was glowing dully on your head for a second and then disappeared. Your eyes were greener than they had been and you could swear that when you looked at your teeth your canines were longer but you felt it might just have been paranoia.
You look at the diamond at the end of your necklace. It unlike yourself has gone through abundant changes. While just last night it had been perfectly clear with a blue symbol in the background it was now a ruby red with a symbol which looked black in the background.
It was hard to believe that a family heirloom from who knows how long ago had caused this phenomenon.
